I did not expect this to be doing nearly this well so soon! I always thought that it could be a CHR hit, but this is moving pretty quickly!

After Fireflies, you've got Hello Seattle, The Saltwater Room and even more... Owl City could become a well-liked CHR artist. Amazing days for CHR.

Hello Seattle and The Saltwater Room are easily their #2 and #3 most popular songs... check the chart at last.fm for instance. TSR in particular would be awesome with the glorious female vox and the sappy lyrics.

^ CHR/POP may LOVE horrible lyrics, but they won't love "hello seattle."

I can't deal with his vocal affectations. You know he doesn't talk like that. One of my biggest pet peeves, and common with alternative-ish acts. This! I love everything I am hearing from the music to the lyrics but why is this autotuned or whatever to death? Is it because he can't sing? Is it because they don't want the tracks to sound human? I'd love to hear these songs just sung...

This song is reminding me of how Shake it by Metro Station was released on iTunes for free a couple months before it became a huge hit. I remember downloading this for free on iTunes forever ago and it's funny hearing it on the radio now xP

This song is blowing up without Z100's help. That rarely happens. Imagine what it can do with Z100 on their side.

TSR in particular would be awesome with the glorious female vox and the sappy lyrics. Yeah, but fan favorites are hardly ever the best single choices. Especially when they're super sappy songs that aren't even that catchy. They would be most wise to go with an uptempo after "Fireflies."
