Is it? Damn it. I've been under the impression for about a 3 weeks now that it was the 13th.
Anyways, about the VMAs, does anyone know if Kelly is attending?

Tomorrow's is VH1 Divas! I'm praying that Kelly is super careful with her voice and brings her A-Game tomorrow. I am also anxiously awaiting this show, and I hope as well that Kelly is in TOP form....sometimes if you listen to her tour stuff, she is flawlessly but when she has to do public televised events....she sounds off, I want to stress that I said sometimes. I don't know how big of an event this will turn out to be, I don't watch alot of TV so I am not sure how much this has been talked about, but I did catch a moment of that Wendy Williams (?) show and she was talking about Paula Abdul and her doing the Diva show. I am selfish.....I want Kelly to blow the rest out of the water. ;)

I was looking at the radio charts and Kelly has only missed the top 10 with three singles ( Low, Touble With Love Is, and Never Again)
It is really immpressive and sorry for being random.

An EXCELLENT review of Kelly's concert last night in Allegan MI. Concert review: Original 'American Idol' the best? Kelly Clarkson rocks the Allegan County FairKelly Clarkson threw a big party onstage Saturday night at the Allegan County Fair, with monster hits, her vocals like fireworks--showy and explosive-- and a band so large it would give Lyle Lovett a run for his money. Backed by 11 people--11!--Ms. Independence bounced around like she was having the time of her life, and so were the nearly 6,000 fans at the grandstand. She came out with a blast, her three-guy brass section blowing down with their high-voltage playing. There also was, in addition to your basic guitar/bass/drums/keyboard set-up, an extra guitar player, bass player, two back-up singers (one doubled as a bass player), and a DJ/Musical Director guy--a bonus that made the show seem more party-like. This largesse made for a layered, rich, and exhilarating sound that just enhanced Clarkson's already stunning voice. New songs from her fourth album, "All I Ever Wanted," including the title track, were almost as well received by this pumped crowd as Top 40 chart toppers. "I Do Not Hook Up" and the latest single, "Already Gone," showed why the original "American Idol" winner is still the best. The girl can flat-out sing so well it's ridiculous, good "ridiculous" as she described her band. "If I Can't Have You," a likely future single, rocked hard with an addictive punk edge around the usual ear-snagging melody. Her smoky version of Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight" gave me the chills, and surely made its way up to Patsy and all the angels. The blazing trumpet solo--yes, a trumpet solo--made it even more marvelous. Though the singer mainly belted out her own growing catalog--including early favorites such as "Breakaway," and "Behind These Hazel Eyes"--she also took a stab at a Rod Stewart tune, changing the lyrics just a smidgen. "Some Girls Have All the Luck" was the result. Her banter on this tune: "Rod Stewart's got that old hot thing going," she said with a giggle. Actually, she was quite girly and giggly throughout, belying her reputation as the writer of acidic break-up songs (there were a few of those, including the smoke-coming-out-of-her-ears "Never Again"). Clarkson seemed happy, and lighthearted, waving almost continually to the young girls gathered near the front, and chatting about their signs and antics. She led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to a girl named Blake who was turning 13, and teased her about not revealing her birthday when they had met at a meet and greet earlier. These girls adored and admired her, singing every lyric with zest. She is this generation's Pat Benatar, a wholesome rocker with a message of girl power in some of more positive tunes. Clarkson also has plenty of fully grown fans; the crowd was almost as diverse in age as the recent "American Idols Live" show on Sept. 6. Fans of every age were on their feet almost every second of the snappy, quick-moving show. And when she closed the concert with that in-your-face love song "My Life Would Suck Without You," her throaty yell at full-throttle and the band at full tilt, it was clear the crowd felt the same way about her. 4 OUT OF 4 STARSHighlight: Take your pick: the whole show was jammed with highlights. Low point: The sound mix was a touch loud at times. Time onstage: 90 minutes www.mlive.com/entertainment/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2009/09/concert_review_original_americ.html

its pretty blatant the 4th single is either IICHY or DLMSY. Im open to either one. DLMSY is a safer choice and I believe would def be a hit on some level, while IICHY has the potential to be either a huge hit or flop.

I THINK kelly said some time ago that she wanted IICHY as a single, I'm not sure though. I would love either one of them as a single, I think both would do well. Someone posted the popularity bars of the songs from the album and DLMSY was in the top 5, so that's a good sign that people like it.

I blast DLMSY on a regular basis so I'd be ecstatic if it was chosen as the next single.

I Want You is SO much cooler with the horns and stuff. The album version does not sound like a single to me. Think we'll finally get a live cd/dvd this era?

I really don't understand why Kelly was not invited to perform or at least present at the VMAS tonight. She is a nominee, and she deserved a performance slot more then Solange Knowles etc. Bummer. :(
I voted for Kelly. Hopefully she will win! Unless they tell you ahead of time you lost, like some shows. That could explain why she is not attending maybe? Confused.

Who cares about the VMA's? Britney Spears won all her awards last year based on her comeback because clearly it wasn't her videos. I would have liked the promo but maybe she was invited and for whatever reason turned it down? She does have Kimmel tomorrow and Diva's on Thursday. It might have been too much within a week and she shouldn't risk her voice for Diva's which is going to be the biggest promo thus far, IMO.

Kelly is busy, it's not like she's sitting at home after months of doing nothing. I'd love to see her attend and perform, but it's not a big deal that she isn't.

I'm surprised she didn't at least attend or present something? She's way more popular than half the people there.

Fucking love you, Kelly. I'm so happy something so many people have shown so much love for Taylor. Glad to see awesome things coming out of such a shitty situation.
