The production level sounds on par with the last SWV album. But if all of the songs on the album are about how they are legends (No Introduction), how they have fans (Joyride), or how they have haters (Haters)...  |

From what I can tell from the live clips I like "No Introduction" more than the other two songs that were played/leaked recently.

I love all of the songs. I don't need my legacy acts to try to sound like today, I need them to stay true to THEM (looking at YOU Usher). I don't care if they sound dated or not, I'm not a program director at a radio station. I like what I hear.

There is definitely a clear difference in staying true to a signature sound vs sounding dated and corny. This new music so far sounds dated and corny.

^^^ This. I certainly don't expect TLC to reinvent the wheel at this point in the game. But I don't expect them to sound cheap. "Joy Ride" is definitely the better of the two tracks. There is no excuse for "Haters."

I was concerned once I read that they were working with mostly "new" writers and producers (i.e. cheap help) especially since they aren't a "vocal" group; I love their voices within the context of their music but they're truly a group that lives and dies by the quality of its material. In a perfect world, as this is their final album, Dallas would've been back at the helm helping them work with some of their core collaborators from the past.

Yeah Rob Fair should have brought in Dallas and Babyface to do 2 songs each. I can't imagine a new TLC record without those two on it. Oh well.

I don't understand if T-Boz can take the Kickstarter money and distribute it amongst her brother and friend/manager then why cant Chilli's baby daddy get a cut too?
