^^ I agree poptartz. I'm not a fan of Soaked either, and I think it's the last thing he should sing on Oprah. It's not at all representative of the album's sound. He needs to continue to promote his current single.
Looking ahead, IIHY or MA for next single please.

I just don't think the Oprah audience will like WWFM. It's a more mature audience, ESPECIALLY considering he's on the same episode as SuBo, so Soaked is the best choice for that particular audience that skews older

I agree. My mom's favorite on the album is Soaked. Also, that song will sound amazing live.

He should do an acapella version of the chorus of WWFM to start, then the strings and drums of the opening of Soaked come in and he does that song.

Adam will be out of his mind not to promote his current single on Oprah. Her audience may skew older but young people watch Oprah too, I do and many others. I agree maybe he can do half and half though Soaked is not one of my favs like Broken Open which is so good. And while not radio material an audience needs to hear that song.

Yeah, do that, a lil more stripped down and emotional, then the epic beginning of Soaked. Sounds like a killer performance to me

Word on the street is that Adam will be performing tonight at the Hotel Cafe with his friends Alisan Porter, Ferras, and Ely Rise-all of whom (plus Adam) wrote "Aftermath." Maybe we'll finally get to hear it live.

You're correct. I'm happy to see it rising on its own. There's a rumor going around that the WWFM video will premiere on Monday, but I don't know if that's true

Yeah they filmed the video 3 weeks ago, so it should be done by now and should definitely come out soon to coincide with the freeze being over

Audience gain was great, so that's still by all means a solid update. Now for the video to premiere, so this can get a sales boost as well.

I haven't seen any rumors about when the music video will premiere, but it was directed by Diane Martel.

Good update but the spin increase is kind of low...I'm guessing that's b/c of the lack of OHP spins this weekend? When will the AT40 spins be factored in?
Maybe the music video will debut with the AOL Sessions...but the sooner the better.

I think WWFM is perfect for oprah's audience, it's a soft-rock ballad- even those around 60 grew up listening to Elton John so I think it's a perfect fit.

Most stations played AT40 today, only a few played it yesterday. The update is small because the lack of OHP, but it's the first time he still gained even when losing a Saturday OHP spin. Today I think he will lose 2 OHP spins so I don't know how the update will be. I hope for a good update still. OHP didn't only chose not to spin WWFM yesterday, but they also spinned LLWD and mentioned AI.. so lame.

Thanks for the explanation brb. Maybe the lack of OHP spins tonight will be offset by the AT40 spins today. Also, isn't this the first week since the freeze in which songs will be purged from the chart? If so Adam may be able to move up a few spots.

I think nothing will drop today, "Party In The USA" and "Use Somebody" are still #19 and #20.. I hope they become recurrent next Sunday and I think "Fallin' For You" will become recurrent next week for sure, but I want to see WWFM moving up a few spots before.

Score! Longineu, Adam's drummer, just tweeted that they'll do 2 songs on Oprah. I'm guessing "Soaked" AND "WWFM."

Since he's been doing "music again" and "WWFM" when doing two songs, I don't know why people would think he would do anything other than that again. If he sings crap like "Soaked" for his Oprah slot, he doesn't deserve increased album sales because that song stinks.

It's a stand out in most of the reviews of his album, and it's written by one of the most hyped bands of the year.
