I think that's a very vague rumor just because someone from the band randomly tweeted something about it.

But yay! Ellen loves him!! He was just on at the beginning of December!

So that means he's on Much Music in Canada on Monday (along with some other Canada promo), Ellen on Tuesday, and then the AOL sessions come out on Thursday...it's gonna be a great week!

Well, they're not doing WWFM b/c Adam's drummer tweeted that it was a new song. Ellen sometimes requests her favorite songs from people that perform. She used to do that with PCD, Kelly and Carrie.

Excellent post by soundscene on the previous page. I think the same thing but I'm not gay so I can see where straight people and gay people probably view Adam's "gayness" differently and how it might impact his career.

Looks like Oprah will give him a pretty big boost next week on the album and singles chart. This song is going to go up the pop charts. Obviously its just a matter of how high. Again, the guy is getting the "big" push from the label so I can't really see them letting two singles underperform. And yes, I still think that you can have organic hits but most often hits come with a push from the label (hey everyone we are behind this artist 100% and we'll send this artist and our other pop artists to your Jingle Balls and what not if you play this person's song A LOT). Yeah, I believe that stuff happens. It doesn't work 100% or every song would be a hit but it obvious to even the casual music follower that this guy is a label priority.

The tweet was from Zac Baird (who is currently serving as their keyboard player) and was quite specific as to their doing "Strut". It was chosen because it adapts well to the band lineup available this week- Monte is off doing a gig with Madonna, so Tommy is filling in as guitarist since keyboard dude can do bass on this particular song.

Here's the tweet-

Oh thank God it finally moved out of the 30's! Very happy to see it in the 20's!

Adam's band confirmed on Twitter that they performed "Strut" on Ellen. It should be interesting to see that on TV!

Oh and FWIW, one of my Canadian friends sent me a screencap of her iTunes, and WWFM was #4 overall on the Canadian iTunes chart. That's awesome! FYE the album was #9 overall on Canadian iTunes, and they had over 1,000 people request tickets to see Adam in-studio on Much on Demand. Apparently Canada really loves Adam.

^That's right, on Canadian iTunes WWFM is #4, and FYE (the single) is #18 and #110. The album is #22 overall. Canada loves Adam!
