Played as the new single on XM this week. More generic sludge in my opinion. If I threw all 10 or so singles I've heard from this band into a hat and blindly played one, I'm not sure if I could tell the difference between any of them. Except maybe Polyamorous?

If you can't tell the difference between this and their other singles then you should get your ears checked. They've had slower songs but this is probably the first one I'd consider a ballad. They've been saying "Fade Away" is gonna be the second single for awhile now, but you've been surprisingly accurate with this stuff and I really hope you're right on this one.

XM has played Fade Away also (I think that was the title). But this had the DJ announcement before it. So who knows for sure? As for the sound, I cannot distinguish much between their songs. But I'm sure this will go top 10 like all of the others. Radio seems to like to play it.

I want this more than "Fade Away" because this song is actually catchy and good. "Fade Away" is just an unmemorable rocker.

decent choice, from a great album i thought they were goin' for crawl or fade away... but after i listened many times all the songs, i liked more "Dear Agony", "Anthem of the Angels", "Into the Nothing" and "What Lies Beneath"

I have a feeling they'll go back to a harder single after this one though. "Without You" would be the best followup for pop and HAC IMO (provided this song actually goes there, seeing as the plug was pulled on So Cold, The Diary of Jane, and Breath), but I realize that it would probably have to be a fourth single to get a chance. "Lights Out" is a fan favorite, it's just a bit too generic for me. Sure, it's a good song, it's just been played out already. My money's on "Crawl" for the third single.

I wouldnt say the plug was pulled. Out of those 3, TDOJ is the only one that would have ever gotten any chance whatsoever at CHR if properly promoted

I seem to remember at least "Breath" getting somewhat of a push.

"Breath" was the closest, they made a radio edit and everything. I think you can actually find single discs of it on ebay as well. But Hollywood Records pretty much abandoned it.

I'm pretty disappointed that this is the next single. Don't get me wrong, no song on the album is bad at all, but this is one of my least favorites. I was really hoping for either "Crawl," "Hopeless," "Lights Out," or "Without You."

"Breath" could've been huge on Pop if they really tried... I will believe that until the day I die.
This is a good single choice, but I was really hoping for "Crawl" to be released, hopefully it still will.
I just hope that they don't repeat the last album and not release the best song on it ("Dance With The Devil").

"Hopeless," "Lights Out" and "Fade Away" are all adored by a lot of their fans, but I just don't want them as singles. I mean, we already have one "So Cold" out there (even though I love that song). But his other two choices are the songs I'm rooting for, along with the title track and "Into the Nothing."

Hope this flops hard. I wanted "Fade Away" or "Crawl" so much... Don't be immature. Why would you want it to flop? So what, you can have less of a chance of hearing the other songs on the radio because the label wouldn't want to push them? Anyway, those songs would fare worse.

I haven't heard Crawl, but two Crawls out at the same time would be decent.

Until I hear this song a bunch, all I can hear in my head when I read the title is DMX shouting, "Lord Give Me a Sign!" from his song of the same name.
(I can't believe that song was from '06. It doesn't seem like I should be able to remember any DMX singles after he basically became a has-been after his '01 album stiffed and he started getting into all that legal trouble.)

I'm not posting that because of the numbers (since they're obviously nothing to write home about), I just love the way the song is labeled by mediabase, lol.

I now like this WAY better than the slightly disappointing I Will Not Bow. I wonder if TDG is gonna compete with this by sending out Lost In You or Last To Know

If they were smart, World So Cold would go to Rock and Lost in You would go to Hot AC/CHR
