^ I agree with Tamia. I've always seen her underrated.

Amerie Mya Ashanti Christina Milian Kat DeLuna Paula DeAnda BoA (she never had any success in the U.S., which is a shame because she's a great dancer!)

Sara Bareilles. While she's had a bit of success, she seemed mostly B-tier at best, if not less than that. Cody Simpson, Drake Bell, Loyle Carner as well.

Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani, Little Mix. Gwen is huge. What? Yeah all 3 have literally gotten a chance already. Gwen has sold millions and is a certified icon. Leona has one of the biggest hits of last decade. Little Mix was pushed hard in the UK. Those were their chances. The only case I could see being made is for Little Mix in the US. They haven't received as big of a push here.

I’m still pissed Sigrid did’t get a push because I loved Sucker Punch and Don’t Feel Like Crying.

• Mallrat - “Charlie” & “Groceries” both should’ve done well at alternative radio. I can’t believe she’s only successful in Australia.
• Amy Shark - Another Aussie that should’ve blown up. “Adore” is beautiful and “All Loved Up” should’ve gotten a bigger push.
• Sasha Sloan - “Self Portrait” is a solid EP, and “Too Sad to Cry” is my go to sad song of the moment. “Smiling When I Die” should’ve been a radio single, it’s super chill but the sentiment is important.
• Rina Sawayama - She is superstar material. She’s willing to take risks (“STFU!”) but also makes addictive straight-up pop (“Comme des Garçons”).
• Allie X - I love her aesthetic. Her exaggerated take on femininity and her vibrant, 80’s influenced pop is deliciously fun.
• MNEK - GOD, MNEK should be the big gay pop star of the moment. He’s so damn talented and his music is fun, plus that voice! “Color” didn’t do too well at pop radio, which was disappointing.

Artists that used to be big and deserve to top the charts again, so based on that, Gwen and Leona apply.

Gwen was HUGE in the last decade (2000s)...and before that, she was still HUGE in her band, No Doubt. Although I would love to see her get a hit once more, her time has long passed for that..just like many other legends such as Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, and Madonna.

I feel like Troye Sivan deserves a chance to really smash. His album Bloom had so much potential.
