The only two predictions about this year's C.M.A.s I'm sure of are: 1. Carrie Underwood winning Entertainer of the Year. 2. Miranda Lambert winning Female Vocalist of the Year. I definitely have to disagree with you on #1. Looks like I was correct on this one! :)

WOW @ YAY! I am not a huge country fan, but I love this album and I'm glad it's bringing in such success.

Well, it looks like "Hello World" will snap their streak of 4 consecutive #1's on the Billboard country chart. It will be at #15 in its 15th week this week, which is a much slower pace than all the other singles from this album. I can't see it getting more than 25 weeks on the country chart, and I don't see it getting to #1 in that time. Too much competition ahead, with Brad, Taylor, Blake, and Billy all doing very well.
But, I do think "Hello World" has been a pretty good single. It should still make the top 5, and could've gone to #1 since actually some of their Christmas music really slowed this one down. Also, it's more of a "risk-release" and a bit of a polarizing ballad. Compared to "Need You Now", "American Honey", and "Our Kind Of Love", it's not as vibrant and shows a much different sound for the band. But, that different sound showcasing another side of the band is why I think it's still a good single release.
Now, I really hope that we get "Love This Pain" as the last single. It would have a chance at crossover (which, being a country fan, I don't concern myself too much with), and it would certainly bring them back to #1 on the country chart before they could give us another album. "Ready To Love Again" is decent, and I could see it being a success as well--plus, Hillary is back on lead, and we haven't heard as much from her since "American Honey". But, "Our Kind Of Love" was shared vocals 60-40, with Charles leading a bit more. On "Hello World", he sounds a bit too sleepy for me, so I think LTP would be great, as Charles sounds excellent. Critics and fans seem to like it, and I think it would be a big mistake to leave "Love This Pain" unreleased. I could see it getting released in the 2nd half of March, or very early in April, depending on when "Hello World" does indeed peak.
