:o @ Already Gone. It may have not gone top ten, but it has some longevity. Party In The USA and 3 are already going downhill. 3 was released in September 2009. It can't stay Top 10, forever! You guys are crazy!!! CIRCUS is at 1.6 million sold, where is Kelly's album at?

"Party in the U.S.A." ALREADY going downhill? It's been on the charts since the summer, no? And, it's scanned almost twice as much as "3." "Already Gone" has had nice longevity, though- it ruled the Hot AC chart for some time. B-RAD, some people have the inside scoop/sources for the charts when they're compiled. I believe the poster was comparing Already gone as having longevity and PITUSA/3 going down hill...but you would find a way to mention that britney scanned half of what Miley did when that was not the point of his/her thread...irrelevant, much?...predictable...always ;)

i really can't believe "imma be" is about to go top ten....it's such an awful song, IMO.
has "blah blah blah" been confirmed as second single? last i heard, it was back and forth with "your love is my drug."

40-41 Haven't Met You Yet - Michael Buble
This better go ATLEAST top30 (crosses fingers for top20)! This is his best song behind 'Home'.

I'm happy to please your predictability quotient, slw. :) I do think it's relevant, because both of those tracks (brand-new lead tracks from their album?EP releases) fared pretty equally well in airplay, yet "3" has sold a lot less than "Party." Cyrus' EP has sold notably more than Spears' Singles Collection, too- so, another reason that I'm somewhat surprised at the sales difference. Now, the Circus comparison to Kelly Clarkson's album- that's a different story, as "3" isn't from the Circus album.
Justin Timberlake has appeared on enough tracks from other acts in the last few years, that he could almost fill an album just with those.

Not seeing the relevance when comparing the longevity of Already gone and how PITUSA and 3 are going downhill. Both are released at different times. I can understand comparing songs released in the same month but this isn't the case. The point of stating the sales of the two are...right, irrelevant to the poster you responded to. Equally well in airplay? I forgot their peaks how was both of their airplay on pop and hot ac charts. Now you are comparing the album sales of all three...LOL. Agreed on the Justin comment. He is just tying over those who actually follow him until he plans his next album.

Very awesome for Taylor! and nice to see some Lady Antbellum album tracks charting on there! I'm glad to see albums debuting well so early in the year without the Grammy's effect.

Hot 100 - 2/6/10 LW-TW-Title-Artist 01-01 TiK ToK - Kesha (6th week at #1) meh **-02 Today Was A Fairytale - Taylor Swift...Wow. 02-03 Bad Romance - Lady Gaga...next 04-04 BedRock - Young Money...next week this hopefully can rise to #2. 08-09 Hard - Rihanna although it is bulleted it is losing steam on urban and rhytmic. I wonder if it will peak in two weeks. Sad to see her songs are having little longevity this era. 15-11 Imma Be - Black Eyed Peas if this song hits #1 my jaw will drop. I like the song and wanted it to be a single from the beginning but just figure it was a safe top 20 hit. #11 already :o 32-14 Carry Out - Timbaland...I am seriously getting tired of people using Justin for a hit...seriously 11-15 I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas...trading places ;) 20-20 Telephone - Lady Gaga...it's weird that this is taking so long to hit...it will go top 10 but Gaga songs and her timing has always been a conundrum (i,e, bad romance, paparazzi, lovegame). 24-35 3 - Britney Spears...will probably stay 20 weeks and then go recurrent. 36-40 Fifteen - Taylor Swift...surprised this isn't top 20. 46-45 Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart - Alicia Keys...snooze 42-46 Fallin' For You - Colbie Caillat

It's kind of funny that Fairytale didn't hit #1 even though Britney did twice selling much less.

Niarchos, please don't spew falsities about me- I do not hate, unlike some others out there. I especially would not buy a CD or a full-length DVD (which I did, for the GH: My Prerogative project) for someone I didn't even a like for (no matter how great or small). It's just as tiring seeing someone say erroneous things about one's likes and dislikes as it is for them to see my broken-record realistic observations again and again. It's a two-way street (not talking about you, but mega-fans of Britney, Mimi, whoever). Thanks. ;)

It's kind of funny that Fairytale didn't hit #1 even though Britney did twice selling much less. 'cause the chart was pretty weak during the time 3 and Womanizer was released, although Womanizer had competition with Live Your Life
