It definitely has a good chance of that on active/billboard mainstream. It's off to a much slower start on alternative than "Scream Aim Fire" (which is much less well-suited for alternative radio than "Your Betrayal"). The irony here is that "Your Betrayal" is sputtering on alternative because of "Scream Aim Fire" being as heavy as it was, while "Scream Aim Fire" was able to fly up the chart because of "All These Things I Hate".

I've listened to the new album every day over the past week or so at work and I do like it a lot. It's great to use to relieve the anger out of your brain when this bitch of a co-worker that I have orders you around constantly and makes you want to cut your ears off. Yeah... anyway, I still like their "Scream Aim Fire" album better though.

My first exposure to XM Octane last night included this song. Wasn't really feelin' it right away, but I'm glad it's been able to hang around the lower half of the chart for a while, which is about right for a song like this. I can't really see them ever having a huge Alternative hit (since they haven't already) so it's really hard to ask for much more than the success they've had ("Hearts Burst Into Fire" notwithstanding).

Haha, I bought B.o.B.'s album that first week! And I'm sure I'm happier with it than I would be with a new Bullet for My Valentine album. AltPress pretty much nailed why I can't fully get into them in their 3-star review of the new record: "Three albums deep, it's become pretty clear what to expect from Bullet for My Valentine...clichéd lyrics, that creepy, dead-girlfriend aesthetic that pervades so much of latter-day emo, and stadium-sized power ballads." "Nothing from Fever drastically deviates from the blueprint." I left out all the good things said that actually made it a decent review, but I'm just saying that a new BFMV album (especially since I only burned off Scream Aim Fire) is not something worth my money. Worth checking out? I'll absolutely stream it at some point, yes.

"The Last Fight", "Fever" or "A Place Where You Belong".

I'll agree with those. I think those are the main standouts to me on the album.

I'm now convinced that "A Place Where You Belong" should be the next single. It could get the success that "Hearts Burst Into Fire" deserved from the last era.

Actually I think they're just going to push "The Last Fight".

I'd be fine with that. "Alone" & "Pleasure and Pain" are pretty neat too.
