This is the first single from Vivian's sophomore album, which is due out at the end of May. I don't like it as much as any of the singles from her last album right now, but she's a very talented vocalist, and it makes any thing she does very good. This song was tentatively titled "Tired," and dance mixes have been done by Junior Vasquez.

This may do fairly well. I can see this succeed on UAC.

This song might be a grower for me. I somewhat like it, but it's just doing nothing for me. Emotional Rollercoaster grabbed me immediately.
I hope it does well and I hope the album is even stronger than her first.

Yeah I'm disappointed in this. Hopefully the Junior mixes will put it over the top for me. I loved those more than the original for both "Emotional Rollercoaster" and "Fanatic."

;) it's cool, sounds like a track from the last album, she is doing a different range on the track. I like it...

VIVIAN GREEN Gotta Go Gotta Leave Producer(s): Junius Bervine, James Poyser, Kevin Patrick, Vivian Green Writer(s): V. Green, J. Bervine Publisher(s): Sony/ATV Tunes (ASCAP); VSG Tunes (ASCAP); JuneBugSpade (ASCAP) Genre: R & B Label/Catalog Number: Sony Urban Music/Columbia CSK 51586 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: March 19, 2005
The dissolution of a relationship can be a roller coaster ride. R&B newcomer Vivian Green testified to that on her critically acclaimed 2002 debut, "A Love Story." She covers the same ground here, the first single from her upcoming sophomore set, "Vivian." But whereas "Emotional Rollercoaster" and other selections from "A Love Story" carried a brooding, jazz-infused tone, "Gotta Go Gotta Leave (Tired)" finds a bolder—and lyrically playful—Green. The singer/songwriter's earthy, worldly wise voice deftly conveys the blame that lies at both parties' feet while hinting at the self-empowerment that awaits on the other side of the painful decision. The story of love gone wrong unfolds against a melodic backdrop of contemporary R&B/soul.—GM

This song...Vivian is singing alot more this go round. She has some other killer cuts on this new record.
But overall, I think she is a pretty mediocre singer who is now starting to realize her solo potential. "Emotional Rollercoaster" was a freebie first album, this one should step up a whole lot more.
Vocally though, she's sounding better than ever!

Oddly enough, this is fourth most added at Urban with 16 adds and got no Urban AC adds. There was no adds date for either format.

Columbia is so stupid! They still haven't shipped this to Urban AC when that should be her format of focus. The song has already outperformed "What Is Love". It could easily become her second biggest hit if they'd just send it to the right formats already.

did it go for adds at urban? Well it randomly pulled in 16 adds at Urban a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming it did.
