Yes, it's great seeing a middle-of-the-road, unexciting mainstream band like Nickelback continue to rack up them numbers. :) Kelly Clarkson will not see a commercial success like Breakaway again (even equating to that level of success for today)- much like Carrie Underwood won't see a Some-Hearts-like success. But, Underwood does look to have maintained more sales than Clarkson. I think the biggest problem with Kelly is her image. People are shallow, and just like people stop buying cds because someone's old, they don't buy cds because someone is fat. I wish she would realize that to be on top of this business, she needs to be on top shape. I love her, so, no need to attack me, and if she likes herself that way, I do too. I just miss the old days when she'd be a reference in music, quality, and everything. Now when she comes up on tv, it's just another bad joke. About Carrie, the main reason why she kept her sales was because she pretty much came with a similar sound to the first cd, on both of the later releases. and the country genre is pretty loyal, so yes. That doesn't mean she is not to be respected. she actually does. She's growing, and she's evolving her sound step by step. Oh please, it has nothing to do with her weight the album she had before this was a mess and it cost her a lot of her fanbase and killed much of her momentum. Kelly has barely been visible in the public eye for this album for people to notice her weight like that

or Whichever is the correct position, I am happy to see the Crazy Heart Soundtrack so high. I didn't realize it was out, and I bought it on Monday, which would be the second week. The originals on the soundtrack as done by Jeff Bridges and Colin Farrell are terrific "Fallin' & Flyin'" has been in my head constantly. Both positions are correct as these come from 2 different charts

74 BROWN*CHRIS GRAFFITI 6,746 -14 7,837 258,184 consistent sales :) and LOL at being higher than omarion despite being older... Ummm. His last album scanned 1.92 million copies, this CD is at 0.26 copies. That's a 87% dropoff honey. He WILL be dropped. Then Jive can wipe their hands clean of a woman-beater.

Nobody is going diamond nowadays. "Here I Stand" still went platinum and was a moderate success. And the difference with R. Kelly is that his album after his scandal, his albums were still selling strong and going multiplatinum while Chris' is tanking after his. Mind you, I don't think Chris will be dropped just YET but I'm sure he's on thin ice and will be on the chopping block if his next album isn't a success.
