Don't think so, TWAFT has been dropping on iTunes since the performance. #22 now.

In the few days right after the performance, actually, it went up. But the last few days it's been dropping lower than it was at before the performance since it has minimal airplay. I would say that the performance helped it slightly in the short-term, made no difference in the longer-term.

I think anyone who would have bought the song to begin with was already aware of it before the performance. Right now Taylor's audience is about as big as it's ever going to get.

I think a nyone who would have bought the song to begin with was already aware of it before the performance. Right now Taylor's audience is about as big as it's ever going to get. Dunno about that. The Grammys is a big audience. Not everybody is plugged in to new releases. Your typical HAC listening housewife or not-that-web-savvy preteen who bought Taylor's album may not have known there was a new song out.

Already Gone has logged in 26 weeks on Hot 100. It could be her longest charting single ever. Nah, the Breakaway era produced songs with mad longevity... Breakaway and Since U Been Gone to name a couple Since U Been Gone and Breakaway charted for 46 weeks each. Because of You charted for 37 weeks. Behind These Hazel Eyes charted for 34 weeks. Walk Away charted for 29 weeks.

It has to fall below #50, and this week will be week #27 in the 30s zone. But the other four...wow that's MASSIVE longevity!!
