I assume he's using the Mediabase published top 50 as his source, in which next week will be week #31. Although I'm not sure, because Feel Good Drag reached #1 in its 32nd top 50 week, not 31st.

Yeah, I was using Mediabase. Guess I should've double-checked the stats instead of trying to post them purely from memory.

In-N-Out doesn't have veggie burgers. :\ Unless he's just going to get the bun with lettuce, which would defeat the point of going to In-N-Out in the first place.
Anyway, the dude just tries way too hard to be strange. I saw them this weekend. (but, he was less strange during the interview I saw.) Lovely song on the radio and CD, but they can't play live worth $h!+.

Lovely song on the radio and CD, but they can't play live worth $h!+. Disagree. I saw two songs by Neon Trees when they opened for Thirty Seconds to Mars in April, and their musical performance commanded the stage, including some pretty excellent drumwork.

I know I initially commented that I couldn't remember how the song went after hearing it several times, but once the song finally sunk in with me, I grew to love it. Glad to see this is #1.

Not sure who Tyler Glenn is, but he should know Billboard Alternative cuts off Sunday, not Saturday. Unfortunately, The Catalyst held if off for another week at the top. "ANIMAL" JUST WENT NUMBER ONE ON BILLBOARD ALTERNATIVE ROCK CHARTS. NUMBER 1 ALTERNATIVE ROCK SONG IN THE NATION. .

The hilarity of that premature celebration completely overshadows your inability to use a search engine for Mr. Glenn's identity confirmation. It almost makes me want to go to Twitter for the first time ever to see if he retracted.
That's what he gets for still following Billboard, I like to say.

Oh if I cared I would've found out. I'm just worried how he'll get the taste of foot out of his mouth.

Well, I guess also I should retract my comment then. Glad to see this is successful anyhow.

It's on their webpage. No retraction (yet), but to be fair most of his comments are actually like that (and in ALL CAPS), so it's not that much of a celebration. As I was saying earlier, he just tries too hard to be strange in general.

So he inadvertently used "Billboard"- big deal. Look in tomorrow's USA Today and you'll see a big fat #1 for "Animal".

You're absolutely right, and even though I also agree with Rich P. about their stage presence, he annoyed me with his "Look at me, I'm strange" attitude. Of course. one look at the whole band's ridiculous hairstyles, and none of this should come as any surprise.

This will finally overtake Linkin Park for Billboard's #1 Alternative song on next week's chart.
