Wouldn’t it be nice to have access to past Billboard country singles charts without having to worry about that annoying subscription pop up? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a thread that’s dedicated for the full charts for everyone to enjoy? Well if it’s allowed on here I may be able to make everyone’s dreams come true. Starting January 1 I will start the past Billboard Country Airplay charts thread. I will try to post a chart daily in succession from the first chart on January 20, 1990 until I get to present day then from there I will update it weekly. If everyone is up for this let me know. If you all don’t want to see it I will not start it. Just trying to make the country thread an even more enjoyable thread. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Here's one link. I found it in the Country News and Non-Singles thread: worldradiohistory.com/Billboard-Magazine.htm

I currently have the top 40 for every week from the first Airplay chart. My question is would people want to see just the top 40 or the whole chart. If they want to see just the top 40 I could start the thread as soon as tomorrow if not late tonight.

I would vote full chart, not just top 40! count me in for the full chart as well! It would be fascinating to see what songs charted in the lower region of the chart that are forgotten

Might be a good idea to have it be it's own separate thread since this one is just used for the current weekly PDFs.

Video of the chart. - Great to see CBCMN debuting, my fav since spring. Hope it will become a hit. - Another happy week without Shallow. - Hoping any of Andress, Tenpenny, Clay Walker, or Wilson will replace Fleet, Swindell, and Robert Counts.

Didn’t Billboard’s chart year end with the November 14 chart?

Didn’t Billboard’s chart year end with the November 14 chart? I never knew Billboard to start the new chart year in the middle of November. I know that MediaBase does (after all, Marv has posted that a few times). I would check that particular B.C.U. and see if they say anything about it.

Evidently Billboard does too because my whole top 60 ending with the November 14 chart on the year end thread matches their top 60 on the year end chart on Billboard.

Reminding you all here that since yesterday's Billboard Country Airplay Weekly issue included the Year End charts and etc, this was the last issue of 2020, will return January 4, 2021!

So, the songs who get most played during weeks Dec 14, 21 & 28 all forfeit #1 credit? I guess most of the current Top 5 or Top 10 songs will lose out on possible #1 since their momentum will diminish without charting 3 weeks in a row?

They just don’t release any Billboard Country Updates for the next 3-4 weeks. Billboard will still update the charts on their site and to see the full charts bdsradio.com usually updates around 10 am central time on Wednesdays with them.

Folks, evidentially I was wrong and it is sometimes tricky on knowing when the last issue of the year is for Billboard or Mediabase, there is an issue for tonight. I am sorry for any confusion I may have caused last week, thinking since last week had the year end charts and etc, thought it was the final one for 2020, well it was not. I would love to see what songs are at 61 to 100 myself. We could see what is playing for sure, and were any surprise independents show up like Rayne Johnson and Caroline Jones.
I am not sure Bobby Wills is considered independent, but he is signed to MDM/UMG Canada, and he is charting with Wash My Truck on some charts.

Also the airplay chart does show what is playing for sure but you just refuse to admit it. This is such a f**king random hill to die on. If it's not broke don't fix it and right now by pretty much all accounts except you the airplay charts aren't broke so they don't need fixed. Dude you need to calm down. Nobody said the charts were broken and need to be fixed, he just expressed an interest in seeing further numbers, which I would be into as well just for curiosity’s sake. Your hostility is so unnecessary.

Sorry to davidcountry for being hostile and horrible to you there and sorry to bdrm87. I have been a real piece of shit horrible person to people here and I am sorry to everyone who I have annoyed.

Okay, before we get more people angry. What I am talking about is that Bobby Wills is also signed to Universal Music Group in Canada. This is why I said I do not think he is an independent artist. Just like Amber Lawrence is signed to Universal Music Group Australia under the ABC Music imprint. They both have songs released to US radio this year. I am interested where some of the good songs are at like their's and Clay Walker and others in the top 100 right now. I think there are a lot of us in this thread interested in these songs that are not in the top 60 radio airplay.

The most chart positions they’ve ever posted of the chart was in the 90’s when they posted the top 75. I’m no chart expert but I’d be willing to bet the 5 songs in the new and active section are the songs that place 61-65. If you look at the chart on bdsradio’s site their audience numbers are not far behind #60. Then again it also may just be these songs are getting increases to make them new and active. I also have to say I have no issue with what you post about. I try to keep my comments at the minimum. I’ve always been told I’d you don’t have nothing nice to say then don’t say it at all.

For example last week when Caroline Jones was off the chart with "All Of The Boys" she probably would have ranked #61 to #65 but she wasn't in New and Active as she lost audience
