Others may feel differently, but for me, I'd prefer them to stay in one thread as they currently are.
From my perspective as a moderator, I think it makes the most sense to just keep all the Billboard chart updates in one thread. However, countryman87 I went ahead and updated the thread title so that it more accurately reflects the way things are now :) Hopefully that will help! |

Nice little housecleaning on the charts as well this week. It'd be nice if it wasn't at the expense of female country songs that deserve better (Kelsea Ballerini, Kassi Ashton, and Ashley McBryde) This. I love that there was a lot of movement this week on an all-too-frequently stagnant chart, but the amount of female songs that got the shaft for this to happen is highly unfortunate. Hopeful that some of the big group of Carly-Gabby-Megan-Carrie songs that are all right around #30 on the chart may start to pick up the pace now though. 🤞 |

Especially considering some of the irrelevant male songs that are high on charts solely because of good radio callouts. I mean it makes sense for radio to concern about callouts but it should not be the only factor that matters.

Is the chart gonna be out as normal today or will it be delayed because of Thanksgiving yesterday? I didn’t see anything in Monday’s update about a delay but then again I just kinda skimmed through it.

I used to get the email myself but don’t anymore for some reason so I either wait until someone else posts it or just change the date in a previous email and refresh my page until it’s available. I’m not in a position to do that right now so I’ve been patiently waiting for it to be posted lol. |

Despite the disappointment of there being no solo females in the top 20 currently and the way several female songs were recently yeeted off the chart after dismal runs (Kelsea missing top 10, Ashley not making the top 20 after a very strong start, and Kassi Ashton's song failing to get traction beyond the 40s), there's definitely glimmers of hope looking at the latest chart. There's 4 solo females in the 26-32 range currently and they all got solid updates this week, and while I think it's likely at least partially a product of some of those female spins being redistributed over to them with Kelsea and Ashley departing the charts, it's good to see nonetheless. I feel pretty hopeful that at least 2 or 3 of them will turn into sizable hits in the end. And then there's also Lainey Wilson's new single which just flew into the top 40 in week #2.
