Also, laughing at Traveller selling more than From a Room. How many weeks has Traveller been #1? Edit: It's now 29 weeks at #1 if anyone cares. "Traveller" is NOT selling more copies than "From A Room: Volume 1". It's >9K Vs. >6K. "Traveller" is OUTCHARTING his latest effort because of a better ratio of individual track downloads and streaming totals.

Holy sh*t at Currington having a 10 million lead in audience! Also, laughing at Traveller selling more than From a Room. How many weeks has Traveller been #1? Edit: It's now 29 weeks at #1 if anyone cares. I have updated the list of the 25 best charting albums in country music. Traveller climbs six spots (from when I last updated the list) to #12 as one of the best charted albums. Chris Stapleton has spent four weeks at the top in 2015, twenty weeks in 2016, and five weeks so far this year with that album. Here's the list: These are the top 25 best charted country albums of all time. These are ranked by weeks at #1, NOT by sales (even though the #1 title is #1 in sales). 1. Come On Over-Shania Twain-Mercury-1997-50 2. Always & Forever-Randy Travis-Warner Bros.-1987-43 3. No Fences-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1990-41 4. Fly-the Dixie Chicks-Monument-1999-36 5. O Brother, Where Art Thou-Soundtrack-Mercury-2000-35 6. Some Gave All-Billy Ray Cyrus-Mercury-1992-34 7. Ropin' The Wind-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1991-33 8. Killin' Time-Clint Black-RCA-1989-31 9. Need You Now-Lady Antebellum-Capitol-2010-31 10. Not A Moment Too Soon-Tim McGraw-Curb-1994-29 11. The Woman In Me-Shania Twain-Mercury-1995-29 12. Traveller-Chris Stapleton-Mercury-2015-29 13. Feels So Right-Alabama-RCA-1981-28 14. Mountain Music-Alabama-RCA-1982-28 15. Blue-LeAnn Rimes-Curb-1996-28 16. Some Hearts-Carrie Underwood-Arista-2005-27 17. Kenny-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-25 18. Fearless-Taylor Swift-Big Machine-2008-25 19. Taylor Swift-Taylor Swift-2006-24 20. The Gambler-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-23 21. Always On My Mind-Willie Nelson-Columbia-1982-22 22. Behind Closed Doors-Charlie Rich-Epic-1973-21 23. The Closer You Get-Alabama-RCA-1983-21 24. Wichita Lineman-Glen Campbell-1968-20 25. Johnny Cash At San Quentin-Johnny Cash-Columbia-1969-20

I just using selling as a general term, since that's what it used to only track. Yes, it's outcharting the current release. Pardon me.

^^ The term you are looking for is "equivalent album sales units" or simply SPS units. (Unrelated, but the best selling album this week is Lucas Hoge's "Dirty South")

The point I was making, without all the detail, is that Traveller is still gaining more certifiable units than From a Room, even though it's two years older.

This chart just turned out so weird. I'm legit stunned that both Adam Craig and Big & Rich went recurrent. Also 15 songs went without a bullet. That's just mind boggling to me!

Is the Billboard Country Update coming tonight? Maybe, maybe not. It's likely extremely late because of all the news coverage coming out of Vegas. You can be sure that both Billboard and Aircheck will have a lot of things to say about the tragedy, especially since it took place at a country music festival. I wouldn't expect the BCU until late tonight, or possibly sometime tomorrow.

If both Billboard and Aircheck come out tomorrow, I'll be disappointed, but I do understand why obviously.

Can somebody explain why the Hotel California album by Eagles re-entered in the top 5 of this week's country albums chart?
