Jana's ad is certainly nice and gave me a pretty big grin, but the articles in Aircheck about "SaladGate" in general was all I could dwell on. Just like I figured, Aircheck is primarily taking Hill's side.

Jana's song needs to start moving now as "I Got The Boy" as really been stuck in the mud considering its stellar sales. Warner saw an opportunity to capitalize on some recent developments with this controversy and pony up some promo money for the ad. Even though Lon Helton is on Hill's side, he knows that some jabs from an opposing view is best to put in Aircheck and the execs at Warner I'm sure has a great relationship with Aircheck. The ad is definitely a bright spot in the issue. Hopefully it can be the start for some steam to be made by not only Jana, but other newer females.

I think Jana though is the only one in the lower parts for females that'll benefit. Cams almost done Mickey won't last much longer along with Kacey and Ashley Raelynn. Jana I think will be the only beneficiary :(.

Not that I deep down truly believe anything substantial will come from this as I still see a difficult road for females on country radio for at least the intermediate future, though a small spike for "Little Toy Guns" and "Love Me Like You Mean It" might happen.

Looks like we may have a bit of a housecleaning on this Sunday Afternoon's chart for Mediabase as it looks like four songs will be going bye bye!!!
Tyler Farr- "A Guy Walks Into A Bar" Eric Paslay- "She Don't Love You" Gloriana- "Trouble" Luke Bryan- "Games"
Next Following Sunday- We say goodbye to
Billy Currington- "Don't It" on June 14th

Benefactors will likely be Brothers Osborne, Austin Webb and Mo Pitney. Jana and EYB are also vying for a top 40 finish. Should be interesting.

She was bulletless on the last 2 published charts. Is there a grace period if you re-bullet after that as she has?

I expect Billy Currington's "Drinkin' Town With A Football Problem" to be one of the 4 songs entering this weekend along with Chris Young's "I'm Comin' Over", expect Hunter Hayes to be back on with "21" and then would love to see an appearance of "Let It Go" by George Strait. blueguitar, as of right now, if Reba is able to keep her bullet and have her bullet on this Sunday then she is safe, but if she loses it again and doesn't have it on Sunday's chart then she would be a fifth song sent packing on this weekend's chart.

What about Reba? She was bulletless on the last 2 published charts. Is there a grace period if you re-bullet after that as she has? Reba didn't have a bullet on either of the last 2 published Mediabase charts, so she needs to have a bullet on Sunday evening or she'll be sent recurrent on MB. She's been kind of teetering on the edge on both charts for the last couple of weeks, as she's basically maxed out on airplay on the Cumulus stations (and really no other stations have been willing to add her), but I'm inclined to think she'll re-bullet on MB (just like she did on Monday's Billboard chart). Still quite a few days left in the week, though, so we'll have to wait and see.

"Going Out Like That" is up 15 spins and nearly 500k in audience since Sunday. Like you said though, there's still four updates remaining and a lot can change.

Awesome, informative feedback! Thank you!!!
I didn't know this rule about re-bulleting. I don't remember seeing this situation before. Reba does seem to have been teetering for a while now.

Awesome, informative feedback! Thank you!!! I didn't know this rule about re-bulleting. I don't remember seeing this situation before. Reba does seem to have been teetering for a while now. The recurrent rule is pretty much the same for Billboard and Mediabase. If a song is bullet-less for 3 consecutive weeks ("consecutive" being the key word), then it'll go recurrent. The only difference between the 2 trades is that Billboard will send songs that are 21+ weeks old recurrent if they have one really rough week, whereas on Mediabase, it doesn't matter if the song is 14 weeks old or 34 weeks old...it needs to have 3 consecutive bullet-less weeks to go recurrent. For songs that are 20 weeks and younger, Billboard's rule is the same as Mediabase's (the song needs to be bullet-less for 3 consecutive weeks). Basically, Billboard's rule clears out older songs quicker than Mediabase's rule allows, because of the 21+ week clause on BB. A song can be bullet-less for 2 charts, re-bullet, then go bullet-less for 2 more charts, and then re-bullet again, and that's enough for it to stay on the chart. If it's 3 weeks in a row, though, then it's done.
