im convinced "sleepwalker" needs to be the next single after this one peaks. this is a sure hit, especially after seeing him sing it live. amazing! im thinking the reason why he sang it is bc leno invited him back on, and last time he was on he sang "whataya want from me" and didnt want to sing it twice. alot of artists do this to show different songs off the album, since hes already sang "whataya want from me" on so many shows

Live, it was excellent. I like Adam best when he's being trippy, which is why I prefer WLL at Fantasy Springs to SW on Leno. imo Sleepwalker should be the next single, exactly as it is on the album. That thing is radio catnip, and the slight country feel adds to the appeal. |

Not crazy about "sleepwalker" too much but he did a tremendous job on it- I have not seen him that fired up in awhile, it reminded me of the Idol days- I liked what he wore and Tommy looked kinda cool in his own little white circle to the side that each bandmember was in- great performance. I liked it better here than I do on the CD.

I agree with everyone, I LOVE "Sleepwalker" live but find the album version to be less appealing. However, I do think it will do well on radio...but I want "WWFM" to finish first and then I want an upbeat song for the Spring/Summer. "Sleepwalker" would be great for the Fall.

Idol Sales Albums: Adam once again remained number 2, Kris saw a nice sized post AI bump, and Allison saw a +192% Increase.... sadly, when that kind of increase still only helps you sell 3k albums, you might want to start packing your bags. Danny Gokey's new CD didnt come out until yesterday, but a few retailers jumped the gun making him register on some charts...

Yeah they didn't really focus on his own music so not a huge bump for Kris. Hopefully when Kris is on single #3 he can also put up more consistent numbers like Adam's.
Good to see WWFM finally cross the half million barrier. :)

Also, Kris has been in the top ten album sellers on itunes, a trend that started before his Idol performance. Btw, I don't watch idol, so don't know: What did Kris sing on idol? I was assuming he sang LLWD or something else from his album. |

Kris sang the Idol Gives Back single - a cover of Let It Be. Which sold 45K iirc.
One note about Album sales on iTunes - it's not a very good indicator of overall sales at all (unlike for singles where it is an excellent indicator) because most Album sales are still physical CDs.

He sang a cover of "Let It Be" by the Beattles for an Idol Gives Back Charity single and he still saw his album go top 7 on itunes. Just imagine what could have happened had he performed a song from his album! Seriously I don't get why people always have to go out of their way to insult people...  |
