The latter track is the third Hot 100 No. 1 from the Black Eyed Peas' album "The E.N.D.," following "Boom Boom Pow" (12 weeks) and "I Gotta Feeling" (14 weeks), which combined to grant the group a record 26 consecutive weeks atop the chart.
In the Hot 100's 51-year history, "The E.N.D." is the ninth album among duos or groups to yield a trio of No. 1s and the first in almost 19 years. Here is a look at the collections to produce three toppers apiece, a list which includes two albums each by the Beatles and Bee Gees:

While the Black Eyed Peas celebrate their first set of three No. 1s from an album, the honor is old hat (trick) for Fergie. She notched three Hot 100 leaders from her solo debut "The Dutchess": "London Bridge," "Glamorous" (2006) and "Big Girls Don't Cry" (2007).
ABOUT 'FACE': Mariah Carey begins at the Hot 100's anchor spot, as "Up Out My Face," featuring Nicki Minaj, arrives at No. 100. Carey has now debuted at either the chart's first or last position five times, making three bows at No. 1 ("Fantasy," "One Sweet Day" and "Honey") and two at No. 100, where "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" opened in 2008. (Fittingly, Carey's contribution to the "2010 AT&T Team USA Soundtrack" is a new song entitled "100%").
"Up Out My Face" marks Carey's 42nd Hot 100 charted entry, lifting her past Barbra Streisand into a solo share of sixth place for most Hot 100 hits among women in the chart's archives.
Here is a look at the solo female artists who have made the most visits to the Hot 100, followed by the dates of their first charted songs:73, Aretha Franklin (March 4, 1961)

On R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, "Up Out My Face" becomes Carey's 38th top 40 title, pushing 41-39.
DÉJÀ VU: Beyonce and Rihanna act like Olympians participating in a relay race, as the two stars continue to hand off the No. 1 baton to each other on Dance/Club Play Songs.
The pair has traded turns atop the tally each of the past four weeks:
Feb. 13, "Why Don't You Love Me," Beyonce
Feb. 20, "Russian Roulette," Rihanna
Feb. 27, "Telephone," Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce
March 6, "Hard," Rihanna featuring Jeezy
"Hard" is Rihanna's 10th No. 1 on Dance/Club Play Songs.
