I'm assuming only a small percentage of those lower top 50 albums have been reported to HITS so far...

I hope GaGa manages to get two top 10 placements this week :) The EP has been selling well despite how the album has been consistently making the top 10 and selling more.

I was never into Gaga or the hype that surrounded her but I did purchase TFM in Dec. only because it was $5 on Amazon and I'm just now getting into it. I absolutely LOVE "So Happy I Could Die" and "Bad Romance"!! LOL I may check out TF and see what's on there.

I know the percentages don't mean much right now, but that's some of the lowest tallies near the bottom of the chart we've seen with 50%+ of reports in.

SADE'S TRIPLE PLAY
Lady Antebellum #2, Johnny Cash (#3), Alkaline Trio (#10) Debut
March 2, 2010
The romance between Sade and record buyers continues this week, as the Epic chanteuse’s Soldier of Love spends its third straight week at #1, with another 127k, bringing her total over 800k.
Seven-time ACM nominees Lady Antebellum celebrate the year’s first million-seller in Capitol Nashville’s Need You Now, remaining at #2, with 117k.
The late country legend Johnny Cash’s American VI: Ain’t No Grave, the final Rick Rubin-produced recordings for American/Lost Highway before the legendary music icon's death in 2003, bows at #3 as the week’s top new entry, racking up 50k in sales.
A pair of albums from Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine, Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. (#4) and Lady Gaga’s The Fame Deluxe Edition (#5) round out the Top 5.
Veteran Midwest punk-rock outfit Alkaline Trio’s Epitaph bow, This Addiction, is the only other Top 10 debut at #10.
Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Lil Wayne rap-rock hybrid Rebirth (#6), Kemosabe/ RCA/RMG’s Ke$ha (#14-7, +7%), Columbia’s Susan Boyle (#8) and Big Machine’s Taylor Swift (#9) round out the best-seller list.
Other chart debuts are registered by Sony Music Latin’s Chayanne (#21), Columbia Nashville’s Josh Thompson (#31), Island/IDJ’s Texas emo-rockers The Rocket Summer (#34), Nonesuch’s k.d. lang Starbuck exclusive, Beautifully Combined (#42) and Walt Disney’s Starstruck soundtrack (#47).
Glassnote’s resurgent Phoenix (#32) and Hollywood’s Breaking Benjamin (#43) both re-enter the Top 50.
In addition to Ke$ha, SRC/Universal Motown’s Melanie Fiona (#33-24, +2%) and Star Trak/Interscope’s Robin Thicke (#36-27, +2%) are the additional two acts showing upward mobility.
Hitting retail this week are Beluga Heights/Warner Bros.’ Jason Derulo, WB Nashville’s Blake Shelton, Disney Records’ Almost Alice companion piece to the movie, Geffen’s Lifehouse, 19/RCA’s Danny Gokey, Experience Music/Legacy’s Jimi Hendrix and Real World/EMI’s Peter Gabriel.

Will Sade and Lady A battle it out again for #1 or will Jason Derulo contend for #1?

Yes it will be interesting next week to see if Jason Derulo can have a smash hit album riding on the success of his 2 first singles.

My own predictions (based on my own guessing) for next week
Sade 95-100k Lady A 90-95k Jason DeRulo 70-80k Lifehouse 55-65k
I hope (whether it be Sade, Lady A, DeRulo...) that the #1 ticks over 100k next week.

Jason DeRulo may have a Kesha debut. But I could be wrong. Yea, seeing how Jay Sean did, I don't know how Jason DeRulo will do since they're similar (Iyaz's in that same boat)

I agree with musicrocks.
I think Jason Derulo will be in the same boat as Jay Sean but may do slightly better. I don't know. We'll see if Derulo is one of those digital/radio artists as opposed to an album artist.

Congrats Sade/Lady A! I'm shocked Sade is doing so well...They(she)is soon going to pass Whitney, and has already passed Maxwell's numbers in 3 weeks(and Mary J's)..
And Taylor still top 10, amazing :)

This week albums #1, #2, #4, #5 & #6 sold more copies than the albums that were in those positions last year.
