This goes for adds on June 21. I was expecting her to come back with the hottest song ever after all the fighting she was doing to get her songs released. It's kind of underwhelming.

She better not have fucked with the Sinatra classic. Please say no sample is involved.

ugh. did she already explore that territory with "oh yeah?" Its a wrap Foxy, you are done. Well ever since Foxy has been claiming to be Haitian or whatever she's been on this shit. ====== Wow. I guess she's in the business just for the art, because this is a flop if I ever heard one. This is like a bad remix of "Oh Yeah." She needs to pick a new single immediately. "I Need A Man" had more potential than this.

I dont think it's that hot either...its kinda boring, and I was expecting much more for a first single from an album 4 years in the making...and after all the hype...
but for some reason it has won like 2 nights in a row by a huge margin on Toronto's Urban radio Sound Clash...but for all we know that could be manipulated.
I was like....why are all these people voting for this song like it's so hot, are they listening to the same song I am?
It actually CLOBBERED the Young Gunz and 112 song "Don't Keep Me Waiting" which was kind of a surprise to me. It was like 94 - 22 in votes or something. But I guess the Foxy song is more 'urban' sounding than the Young Gunz/112, if that's an excuse.
At least "Oh Yeah" was hot...that song was killa

Oh Yeah was the shit man. I heard she's gonna use this as a heater for the album. I read on mtv.com that she wanted to go back to her Jamaican roots or whatever and use this as a first single. She said she has a lot of bangers she could have gone with, but didn't wanna stray too far from her roots for this one. Ragga star Sizzla is featured on this track.

The thing is, Foxy "sticking to her roots" has never gotten her any real success. Her hits were the nice radio-friendly "I like shaking my titties in the club" shit.
I still say she's an idiot for boycotting the release of "Candy" as a single. "Broken Silence" would have been a hit if it weren't for that.

This ain't no heater. What is it heating up? If I were a PD I would not add this or anything else she released as going back to her roots, until she went back to HER roots and gave us some new "Hot Spot" SMASH!!

"Candy" was a SMASH because Kelis was on it.

"Candy" was the biggest hit Foxy had on that album. The fans knew it, her label knew it. The only one who didn't seem to know it was Foxy. So she released "Tables Will Turn," flopped, and said that it was her label's fault for not promoting her.

In the new issue XXL, she said half the album was gonna be reggae and the other half straight hip hop.

To be brutally honest are they calling Foxy Brown backshots now? She seems so eager to let the world know her anal game is on point. Anyway I like this eventhough she's keeping to her imaginary roots.
