It's indeed a flop on Pop. #55 with a +28 bullet. On Urban and Rhythmic it's doing okay. Rhythmic: #27, + 211; Urban: #13, +153, but it's kind of obvious now that "Cater 2 U" won't be a hit after all. Cater 2 U could just be a slow builder. Some songs are that way. Not to mention its been getting play on the radio since the begining of the year.

I think the song will do just fine.

if it hits the top 20 of the billboard chart then its not a flop...at the moment considering how long its been out its a FLOP So a songs a flop even if it stays on the chart for a year and makes a respectable showing on it. At Urban this song is a smash hit and on billboard it seems as though this song is about to crack the top 40. It sky rockets 60-45 this week.

Now if I were DC I'd release a pop friendlier yet still R&B version of this song. Something like what Janet did with Any Time, Any Place remix or like what R. Kelly did with Bump N Grind remix.

I agree with Adonis....they should release a pop friendlier remix of Cater 2 U and its not a flop yet...give it a month and if it decreases then its a flop but if it continues to grow then it ain't. Girl made it to 23....yall consider that a flop....maybe by DC's standards but not in reality.

Great performance on Urban radio: up to #12 with 2062 spins (+304) and #4 if you arrange the charts according to audience impressions!

This track is a great final single for them, in which it helps to spread out the message that their mission is complete and that all obligations are fulfilled.

It's #6 on Urban, with the biggest bullet in the Top 20, only a few spins away from #3. In the audience impression ranking, it's already #3 now.
On Urban AC, "Cater 2 U" is now the greatest gainer.
On the Urban Overall charts, it's the greatest gainer, #7 in spins and #3 in audience impressions.
On the Rhythmic charts, "Cater 2 U" is doing alright, sitting at #24, whereas it's the 17th greatest gainer. On Pop, "Cater 2 U" lost its bullet.

I think this has a good shot at #1 on Urban and Top 5 on Urban AC. Pop and Rhythmic are dead!

This will be one of their biggest Urban hits!!! Bills Bills Bills, No No No, and Bug-a-Boo are the only ones bigger.

I have a question. Have any of Destiny's Child's singles gotten to the Top (10) solely based on RHY and URB? Because I think the lack of POP might affect the song's overall performance.

Passed 60 million in audience today (comparable to the peak of "Girl"). It should definitely outpeak "Girl"'s peak on the Hot 100 airplay charts (#16) and become their 4th Top 20 hit on that talley. Nevertheless, on the Hot 100 charts, it will be difficult to reach the Top 20 because of their lack of downloads.
"Cater 2 U" is now the greatest gainer on "Urban" (#3, +484) and the 6th greatest gainer on "Rhythmic" (#20, +428) while on Pop, as already stated, it's a huge flop (#66, 217 spins, -86).

Wow, where are all these gains coming from? Cater 2 U is a smash on Urban.
I guess its pretty much over in the POP area. Theres really nothing they can do there. And I assume VH1 and MTV2 wont play Cater 2 U at this point anymore because the vids been out for months.

"Cater 2 U" has almost 65 million audience impressions now! Greatest gainer on Urban again at #3 (+502), #19 on Rhythmic with a +420 bullet and +87 on Urban AC. It's recovering a little bit on Pop (#65, -29 now)

This song is doing too well at its core format for Pop radio to continue to ignore it so naturally the record company is sending it for adds again at Pop.
