Second single from "Hello Hurricane". Pretty good choice. Only "Mess of Me" betters this from the HH album imo.

I liked Mess of Me but I think I like this one a little more on first listens. We'll see how it holds up over the next few weeks.

My favorite song on the album, though I'll count it as the third single because "Always" got at least a Christian AC release (and I hear it on the radio far more than the two times I've heard "Mess of Me").
Honestly, I wasn't expecting another single from this album. Whatever happened to releasing four albums in the span of a year? The only info I can find on Vice Verses has it coming out in December.

Hopefully these guys can get more than 1 charting song off an album again. Well this one's another pretty heavy rocker for them like "Mess Of Me" was, so I'd expect for it to chart on Alt, top 30 would be cool. |

They said they had recorded 4 albums and would released them consecutively, and fairly quickly. Nothing about just a year. I think the last one comes out in late 2011 maybe 2012 actually. |

Granted, stations that are playing this probably had more playlist changes than most alt stations, as this song fell way down the chart memorial day weekend, and has bounced back now that those changes are in the last week column.
Also this was one of the most added songs this week at alternative radio. I don't know how well it will do ultimately, but if a song is moving up from #38 to #30, it's a legitimately bulleted song.

I'm glad it's gaining again. I thought it was gonna stall out about a week ago. I wish it would. I don't like how Jon pronounces "sound" in the chorus, as it sounds like he slips an "e" in there. And I don't care for the stop-start chorus riff. Plus the "rocking" chorus comes off to me as a little bit like playing dress-up. In fact, I'm surprised my active-leaning station has played their new stuff this year. It seems like, regardless of what these past two singles sound like, they'd be considered too much of a Hot AC-leaning band now overall. |

^I also hear the "e" you are talking about. Almost sounds like he's singing "This is the Soued!"
I feel like they are a band at odds with the rest of the alternative crowd with the sometimes "Christian" label bestowed upon their music. Not entirely sure if it's something they ask for.
