"That b*** Ashanti ain't neva been on an XXL cover!" - Teiarrhea To be brutally honest...being on the cover of XXL isn't anything too special...Ashanti does have certified plaques from successful albums...even though the last one didn't perform to everyones expectations she still has more of a fan base than Tierra Mari and I'm positive that Tearirra Mari will not have a longer career than Ashanti.

"That b*** Ashanti ain't neva been on an XXL cover!" - Teiarrhea Neither has Teairra. She was on the inside fold out of the cover. Lebron James, Jay-Z, Kanye and Foxy were on the cover. No one will see her on the shelf unless they have the cover folded out.

To be brutally honest Ashanti no longer has a career Ashanti still has a career...she experienced one flop. I'm not saying she's a great singer or anything trying to defend her BUT then we should also say since Whitney flopped with Just Whitney she can't make a comeback, MAriah Carey with Glitter, she should have no career...I think it's unfair to right someone off as is the case with Mariah to be brutally honest because she came back with what appears to be the R & B album of the year and has some of the hottest tracks of her career.

To be brutally honest ashanti's sales, quality of music, and fan base drops with each album..and Ashanti is not seasoned enough to have a "comeback" record..she is not consistent....Mariah and Whitney on the other hand are consistent artists who have strong fan bases.

"Concrete Rose" was better than "Chapter 2" and in some ways her debut album. Bit i agree with you that she is not a big enough star, nor talented enough to make a mariah comeback.

This girl has amazing vocals! Of the 10 tracks I've heard of her album, it's hot. If you've heard "Phone Booth", you know this girl has talent and is gonna do the damn thang. "No Daddy" is one of the hottest tracks I've heard THIS YEAR. I never hate on any new artist. She's gonna do it big in '05. Teairra Mari... remember that name. You'll be screaming it later ;)

Why do Artists have to have a big voice like Mariah's to have a strong comeback? Ashanti could have a comeback if she stays put for awhile and comeback with something new and hot!

If you didn't need talent to get to where you were why would you need talent to get back to that point? All an artist needs is a hit song and their career is going to be on the upswing no matter who it is.

The difference between Ashanti and Teairra Mari is the fact that Ashanti is an established artist with album sales well over 6 million. Teairra Mari must still prove herself....To Ashanti haters: get at me when Teairra releases her follow up album and outsells Ashanti's last album Concrete Rose which to date has sold 800,000 copies off the strength of one single "Only You" which peaked in the Top 20 on Billboard and is certified platnium.
Anyway back to Teairra Mari I like "Make Her Feel Good" and i like "No Daddy" both are hot records but I don't think she's gonna outsell Ashanti anytime soon. The fact that Jay-Z and Def Jam keep releasing flop after flop worries me a lot...112, YOung Gunz, Memphis Bleek, soon to come Rhiana, Teairra Mari, and Foxy Brown. Obviously something isn't right.

This is actually pretty catchy and the beat is hot. I dont really like the lyrics or message of the song, its corny, but its catchy and a hot beat.

Just when Keyshia seemed to be the trashiest hoodrat around, Teairra has snatched the crown. I think Keysh is far more vocally talented, though.

The only difference is that Tiearrhea looks soft as he**, while Keysh "Da Beast" actually looks the part.

I think MHFG is doint great. I hear it everytime I turn on the radio. I liked it the first time I heard it. It's real catchy and if she's looking for a crossover hit that would be it. AS for this song..it's definitely a hoodrat song. Shit, I aint had no daddy either..I am the least bit wild! Lmao. It has a nice beat to it tho, so that might do it. Ppl shake they ass to anything. LOL

she definitely has that hip hop edge to her, I think if she gets good promotion she could atleast go platinum.

She won't go platnium thats the thing... we got Jay-Z hyping up Young Gunz, 112, Foxy Brown, Memphis Bleek, soon to be Rhianna and Teairra Mari and getting poor album results...sales wise...sure they all feature blazing singles that do respectively well but once the album comes out it's like all promotion is stopped. Jay-Z really isn't producing any kind of results there at Def Jam if you call flop after flop after flop doing a great job then it's ashame. I predict Kanye West to also go through the sophomore slump because his singles are really poor although I see him selling 2 million on hype alone because well it's Kanye and he's Kanye West and people actually think this album is hot.

i think he should dump teirra mari as the princess of the roc and replace her with rihanna, she has the best chance at success and is probably the only person that will bring shame from his eye. and because rihanna has a successful single, they will promote her more. unless teirra mari's single picks up she's heading for flop ville to join the likes of ashanti, jlo, amerie and brooke valentine

Is Rihanna's single actually doing well? I only seen the video twice on MTV2. I haven't heard it on the radio or seen it on any other channel besides that. Oh wait..I think I did see it once on BET start or whatever that show is that come on after Bet.com Countdown in the morning. I hear Teairra's single all the time, like everywhere I go. I'm just curious..how well is "Pon De Replay" doing?? (No sarcasm here)
