No. Video Phone (the original song) went for adds on Urban, but they never sent the Remix for adds in any format. I'm pretty sure it was going to flop with an adds date, anyways, going by it's WW performance in the charts.

Funny how they ignored the flop that is "Video Phone". Telephone also failed big time considering how big and popular Beyonce and Lady GaGa and their former hits are. telephone didnt fail at all, gaga's album sales have remained steady from it and its going to be double platnium in a month or two like all other gaga songs |

I wouldn't use the word 'fail' but it's not a highlight for either of them, chart-wise or musically. It's just another collaboration.
Collaborations between two big stars could work as a third or fourth single. No big name wants a collaboration as a first or second, era defining single.. First singles never pay off (Celine & Barbra, Britney & Madonna). It's mostly just maintaining the buzz.
But how come the original article says Gaga and Beyoncé are the opposites? They're not! I believe there are lots of listeners who love both.

Video Phone remix was a flop even though Lady Gaga provided the most memorable line in the song. "I love the way the light flashes cause u are my receiver" the song still didnt hold up to Beyonce's other Sasha Fierce hits. I think they were pushing it because its the two strongest female performers out right now but i still think Sweet Dreams is a much better song than Video Phone. she shouldve released Radio tho. In my head... she couldve scored a grammy nominee with it for best Dance recording and takes "madonna - Celebration" spot which was utter rubbish.
