With a full week of sales under its belt, "Airplanes" could move up next week. It's held steady at #2 on iTunes.

To clarify, since I compiled that list.

My intention was to give us an idea of what are the biggest songs of 2010 as they'll be featured in the BB's year-end Hot 100, which comprises Dec. 2009-Nov. 2010, as 2m explained. Hence my starting with the issue dated Dec. 05, 2009.

Initially I wanted to do an inverse point chart but since I don't have all the weeks stored, it was going to be 10 times more work to compile that and I am lazy. =P (I still intend to do that).

I don't know if B.O.B will stay at the top for 10 weeks, but it could be a contender for Billboard's Song of the Year. We'll see.

I mostly agree with you about the BEP. Rih Rih had a very impressive five weeks at the top. Now I just want her to get her #1 at pop and I'll die a happy s.tan. :)

ummm. 'Whattaya Want From Me' was completely stalling until he performed it on American Idol. If Allen could have performed 'Live Like You Were Dying' it would have done the same thing...

Ditto, except for me it's 5 weeks tops, hence Rihanna left just about time.

Now lets hope that BOB only stays @ the top few weeks and others may have a chance @ #1.

I do think that BOB it's gonna stay 3-5 weeks, depending on how fast OMG rises and/or if by any chance YLIMD or Alejandro sell a lot on any given week.

Well, Lambert has been a medium success. Not really big, but at least has a Gold Album, and a Top Ten single.

Allen is a flop, with a mediocre single and a poor album.

And it's the way it should be. Justice has been served.

Well, it's pretty obvious that Adam has been pushed WAY more than Kris, not to mention the stunts he pulled. It's not surprising that he is more successful. But Adam's success has been moderate given the hype he had early on.
