"Airplanes" will debut @ #12 on the Hot 100. I wonder if this will be another #1 for B.O.B. I'm glad all of this is happening the week before his album release. Now, I hope he gets a #1 album.

With a full week of sales under its belt, "Airplanes" could move up next week. It's held steady at #2 on iTunes. Good for him for getting to #1!

Billboard 2010, weeks in: TOP 10: 19 - KESHA - TIK TOK 16 - LADY GAGA - BAD ROMANCE 13 - TRAIN - HEY, SOUL SISTER 13 - YOUNG MONEY FT. LLOYD - BEDROCK 13 - DAVID GUETTA FT. AKON - SEXY CHICK 12 - IYAZ - REPLAY 11 - LADY ANTEBELLUM - NEED YOU NOW 11 - THE BLACK EYED PEAS - IMMA BE 10 - JAY-Z ALICIA KEYS - EMPIRE STATE OF MIND 09 - OWL CITY - FIREFLIES 08 - JAY SEAN FT. LIL WAYNE - DOWN 07 - RIHANNA - RUDE BOY 07 - JASON DERULO - IN MY HEAD 07 - JASON DERULO - WHATCHA SAY 07 - LUDACRIS - HOW LOW 06 - TAIO CRUZ FT. LUDACRIS - BREAK YOUR HEART 05 - B.O.B FT. BRUNO MARS - NOTHIN' ON YOU 05 - LADY GAGA FT. BEYONCE - TELEPHONE 05 - JUSTIN BIEBER FT. LUDACRIS - BABY 05 - BRITNEY SPEARS - 3 ^^ This is where I got the information from. @ Damazz, you are right though. Britney's last week in the top ten was for the week of January 2, 2010. To clarify, since I compiled that list. My intention was to give us an idea of what are the biggest songs of 2010 as they'll be featured in the BB's year-end Hot 100, which comprises Dec. 2009-Nov. 2010, as 2m explained. Hence my starting with the issue dated Dec. 05, 2009. Initially I wanted to do an inverse point chart but since I don't have all the weeks stored, it was going to be 10 times more work to compile that and I am lazy. =P (I still intend to do that).

Congrats to B.O.B. (and thank God that Rude Boy was not one of those 8-12 weekers: I like rotation at the top).
PS: LMAO @ the two songs with the cheap ass videos beating those with high profile ones (Telephone, etc)

I predict that B.o.B.'s song will be named Song of the Year from Billboard. I said that 1 month ago but now i'm sure. And maybe it would stay >10 at the top

I don't know if B.O.B will stay at the top for 10 weeks, but it could be a contender for Billboard's Song of the Year. We'll see.

HDS news: new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart_watch/52308/week-ending-april-18-2010-the-song-that-never-gets-old/Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" slips to #2 on Hot Digital Songs after three weeks on top. The song tops the 3 million mark in paid downloads this week. It has sold more than 12 times as many copies as the group's album, Save Me San Francisco, which has sold 241,000 copies. That album has yet to equal the sales (278,000) of the group's 2006 album, For Me, It's You, which produced no Hot 100 hits. Train's first three studio albums all sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S. Its 2001 album Drops Of Jupiter, which featured the top five smash "Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)," has sold 2,610,000 copies. Usher's "OMG" (featuring will.i.am) jumps from #7 to #6 on Hot Digital Songs. It also jumps to #1 in the U.K. this week. It's the fourth British #1 for both artists. Usher previously topped the U.K. chart with "You Make Me Wanna...," "Burn" and "Yeah" (featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris). Will.i.am scored with three Black Eyed Peas hits, "Where Is The Love?" (featuring Justin Timberlake), "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling." Christina Aguilera's "Not Myself Tonight" enters Hot Digital Songs at #15. It's the first single from Bionic, her fourth regular studio album, which is due on June 8. Aguilera's first three regular studio albums all reached #1 or #2 on The Billboard 200. Aguilera has amassed eight top 10 hits on the Hot 100, stretching from her first single, 1999's "Genie In A Bottle," to 2008's "Keeps Gettin' Better." Six songs from Glee invade Hot Digital Songs this week, topped by the cast's versions of the All-American Rejects' "Gives You Hell" at #14 and Lionel Richie's "Hello" at #19.

Congrats to BOB for ousting Rihanna. No offence, but from last year, BEP left a bad taste in my mouth and whenever I see a song on the top for more than three weeks, I lose interest in it. Same thing happened with me for TT and RB. Hence....

Now I just want her to get her #1 at pop and I'll die a happy s.tan. :)

Same thing happened with me for TT and RB. Hence.... Ditto, except for me it's 5 weeks tops, hence Rihanna left just about time. Now lets hope that BOB only stays @ the top few weeks and others may have a chance @ #1. I do think that BOB it's gonna stay 3-5 weeks, depending on how fast OMG rises and/or if by any chance YLIMD or Alejandro sell a lot on any given week.

You can't possibly argue that Kris has been anywhere near as successful as Adam. Well, Lambert has been a medium success. Not really big, but at least has a Gold Album, and a Top Ten single. Allen is a flop, with a mediocre single and a poor album. And it's the way it should be. Justice has been served.

Well, it's pretty obvious that Adam has been pushed WAY more than Kris, not to mention the stunts he pulled. It's not surprising that he is more successful. But Adam's success has been moderate given the hype he had early on.
