Debut at number #59 on the Canadian Top Albums chart. This is worse than I expected, but I think they waited too long to release the album here. Ghost was a hit throughout the summer. The album should have been released in August/September. I also think a lot of people might have chosen to download the singles instead of the album.

Way too hard to pick favorites on this one, every track is great. Even the 4 bonus tracks.

The standard version of the album is now available on iTunes for $7.99.
The album is fantastic! My favorites are "Ghost", "Thanks For Nothing", "Stuttering", and "Joy"...but I generally like the whole collection. Does anyone think she sounds a little like Sheryl Crow on some of the ballads... particularly "Set Me Free"?

Her album didn't even chart on Heatseekers; I don't even wanna know how many copies she sold at this point.

That's not surprising. Her first single didn't make it to top 50. Her second single is moving in the right direction but doesn't have enough airplay yet. She's been gone too long. She's effectively starting over.
The good news is that she is doing well in Canada and it looks likes Stuttering will get to top 40 radio.

"Thanks For Nothing" reminds me of Orianthi's"According to You"...in a bad way Its a dated pop/rock that should've been either left in 2004, or given to a Disney/Nick star.
It's not bad. But there are WAY better songs on the album.

But there are WAY better songs on the album. No one is disputing there a better songs. What people, including myself, are disputing is that "Thanks For Nothing" is the best choice for radio. Although who knows if she'll even get another shot; we have to wait to see how well Stuttering performs.

I disagree. I think Can't Breathe is both more radio-friendly and a better song than Thanks for Nothing

Thanks for Nothing definitely has that Max Martin/Dr. Luke sound down cold, but I'm wondering if people will think it's a bit stale at this point? If that's the case then I'd go with Can't Breathe. But other than the two singles already released, TFN and CB are the only other two from the album that I'd even consider for radio.

Fefe's co-headling a tour! *** DELUKA Announce U.S. Tour & NYC ShowsJanuary 27, 2011, 07:00 AM Hot on the heels of an incredible year that saw the release of their electrifying debut album, You Are the Night, Brooklyn-by-way-of-Birmingham band Deluka have announced a co-headlining U.S. tour with Fefe Dobson. Set to kick off in Pittsburg, PA on February 14th, the string of dates at Hard Rock venues across the country will be preceded by select New York City shows in early February. Hotly tipped by NME and Dazed and Confused in their native UK, Deluka showed the US what all the fuss is about with the release of their debut full-length album, You Are the Night (Vel/RED),in late 2010. Enthusiastically embraced stateside as one of the year’s most exciting debuts, Deluka catapulted onto dance floors with their lead single “Cascade” which spent nine weeks on the Top 100 Alternative chart. The band is preparing for the release of their second single, “OMFG” as well as a music video to debut in mid-February 2011. Lead by magnetic front woman Ellie Innocenti, Deluka is known to pack venues with their floor shaking live shows and raucous DJ sets. Stay tuned for additional tour dates and plans at SXSW 2011. U.S. Tour Dates: 2/3/11 Brooklyn, NY @ the Bell House (w. Does It Offend You, Yeah?) 2/5/11 New York, NY @ Rockbar 2/14/11 Pittsburg, PA @ Hard Rock 2/15/11 Columbus, OH @ CD101 Big Room 2/16/11 Chicago, IL @ Hard Rock 2/17/11 Indianapolis, IN @ Hard Rock 2/18/11 Louisville, KY @ Hard Rock 2/20/11 St. Louis, MO @ NACA 2/22/11 Nashville, TN @ Hard Rock 2/27/11 Baltimore, MD @ Hard Rock 2/28/11 Philadelphia, PA @ Hard Rock 3/2/11 Detroit, MI @ Hard Rock 3/5/11 New York, NY @ Webster Hall Fefe isn't listed on Webster Hall's event calendar for that date I just want to see her in concert in NY, is that so hard to ask?!

Not really news or promo, but they played a little bit of the instrumental to Ghost on the new Housewives preview, it feels like it's ALWAYS Watch Me Move, when I heard it I freaked out!
Wish they played a part of the chorus at the end though. :(

I hope Can't Breathe has an amazing concept! Is it going to be the same director? I think they're doing great together.
Has anyone listened to Paranoia or know how it leaked? I'm in LOVE with it, a lot more than I thought I would by the Fringe preview. Definitely better than all the bonus tracks.

For all the time it took to create and re-work this album, I really don't believe her label pushed any of the material that hard in the US . She is doing a Canadian tour for the next few months, after that is it safe to say this era is over? Still bummed she never did a NYC concert!
