Keep in mind that audience impression figures are statistical estimates.
A difference of about 0.2% is almost definitely within the margin of error -- it's a statistical tie.

^ Not necessarily. "Your Love Is My Drug" looks to be competition for "OMG."

???
I don't care whether Single Ladies or Rude Boy had a higher airplay peak. I like both songs.
Did Single Ladies have a higher Mediabase peak? Yes. Did it actually have a higher level of airplay impressions than Rude Boy? No way to know -- the numbers are so close, and are based on statistical models rather than actual hard numbers, that you can't tell.
This is why BDS and Mediabase also deviate. They are making estimates. Even Soundscan, which gives numbers down to the single digit, is actually making estimates to cover the sales they don't monitor.
If a pollster ran a poll on 2 candidates and found they were polling at 49.9% to 50.1%, they would call it a "statistical tie."
This isn't being a fan or a hater, this is just looking at the numbers and how they're calculated.

Seriously- who gives a rat's arse if a track had a few hundred thousand impressions than another? Or even a couple million? At levels that high, does it even matter? In any event, unless Billboard reports on "Rude Boy's" weekly BDS peak, who knows what the official BDS peak is- and that's the more notable measuring system, as it's used for the Billboard charts.

I really hope Rude Boy goes back to the top. Right after B.o.B gets his shine this week.

Hmm, Rihanna took 7 weeks to top airplay. Lady A took 26.
I'm guessing about 9 for Usher.

Keep in mind that audience impression figures are statistical estimates.
A difference of about 0.2% is almost definitely within the margin of error -- it's a statistical tie.NO Statisically a tie is when both songs have the same statistics. Neil Armstrong called, he said for you to leave the reaching to him. There is a certain margin for error in this type of reporting: I agree that it is a statistical tie, even if one is .02 AI higher or whatever. I have no reason to "reach" I'm neither a Rihanna Stan or Beyonce.
