That was a very heavy Country update, yet no Taylor Swift.....weird, must be a mistake. Either way, the chart looks okay this week!

The Mother's Day weekend gave a lot of artists bumps.

Nice total for Carole and James.
And, Toni B. at least cracked the top 10.

Happy Mother's Day affected Court Yard Hounds & Carole King in increases.
And Toni has a slight chance of going to #8 on Soundscan... by all chances, I'm just hoping she passes Usher.

Yeah, King/Taylor is a great selection for that kind of holiday (though I like them both myself).
It shows how competitive this sales week is, that some albums with big percentage gains lost position- though, when half of the top 20 is debuts, that explains it in part.

This week the entire top ten sold more copies than the top ten sold last year thanks to Mother's Day

Rihanna's sales are awful, for having a huge hit, I think she will not reach even 1m

Yay for Carole King and James Taylor! Though, I know Mother's Day had a lot to do with that. We'll see how it holds up. Hopefully, B.o.B doesn't keep tumbling down either.

Barbara Streisand debuts at #1 on the music DVD chart which means it isn't going to show up here. Anyone know why that is a DVD and Carole King's disc is not?

That's a good question. Maybe because you can also buy the Streisand DVD separately? Whereas w/ Carole King and James Taylor, you're getting both automatically?
