That was extremely out of character, but I'm glad she said that.

I don't know of this is all for publicity, but if there's really a supposed jab towards Gaga on one of her songs, then Xtina is a fake b----

Yes, damage control. She really should have said that in the first place.

That was supposed to be the first single, right? If it's true, then this quote may make her look worse than had she not responded at all. On the plus side, at least we know that she knows who Lady Gaga is.

Damage Control 101 right there.
Still, with as wretched as her personality is, I don't buy it. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if she didn't even write that herself, and a publicist did.

This is such obvious attempt at damage control...I guess she finally realized that the public is against her not with her. Although I think it might be a little too late to try to kiss and make up. Who can forget when she was trying to throw major shade at GaGa saying she doesn't know if it's a She or a He . I bet she wishes she can take that back now. She is so out of touch. She still thinks it's 1999 and she is the "it" thing in pop. The pop world has moved on and left her bitchy ass behind.

It's about time she or her team said something on the Gaga matter. It's been long overdue.

Damage Control DUNG! She probably was getting threats from the GaGa fans or she read the comments on blogs.

She's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't in the eyes of many. Personally, I'm glad she released that statement and believe what she says to be true (I just don't feel like Christina is the kind of person who would take back something she truly meant/said). For the record, it is possible for something to be taken out of context (it happens all the time in the entertainment industry). So, her words were taken out of context again like when she dissed other female artists...yeah right What? She never claimed every negative sentiment she ever publicly expressed was taken out of context; she's simply referring to this comment and said it wasn't the first time something similar (twisting of words) had occurred (she never said it happened every time). Just because she spoke negatively about specific artists in the past doesn't mean every quote thrown around (of her supposedly bashing another artist) afterward should automatically be seen as truth.

Little too late, she's been talking $hit about GaGa since her song Keeps Flopping Better flopped. I remember her Blender interview where she was disrespecting Britney and Beyonce's performances at the VMA's. I have zero respect for this sad woman.
I'm glad Karma came and did her thing on Christina.

Has Christina ever been known to talk positively about her peers? It seems like she is known for making condescending remarks about her peers. I don't think it's the right time to be doing that.

Who can forget when she was trying to throw major shade at GaGa saying she doesn't know if it's a She or a He . lol. Lord knows people have to continue to bring this up over and over as supposed "evidence" of Christina's cattiness. At the time, Lady GaGa was still a relatively new phenomenon; I honestly believe she simply didn't know who she was (especially considering she has said countless times she "lives under a rock" in certain respects). Going by name alone, Lady GaGa does indeed sound like a drag name. I probably would have said the same thing, had I not been familiar with her previously. But alas, with anything Christina, a lot of people will always take it to a much cattier place; it could never be just as simple as Christina being unfamiliar with her at the time. It has to be a dig!

Yeah people here are hellbent on hating her. Eh, it's cool. Can't please everybody. True. I just think a lot of people are too quick in making snap judgments; they only need to see a quote with Aguilera's name attached to it to run wild (wouldn't matter if it was a credible source, or Joe from across the street who reported it). Ridiculous. lol Either way, I hope she continues to make bold statements. At this point, I don't care if her album fails (as I'm only a fan for the music, not the success); I am just going to start enjoying the over-dramatic reactions!

It's not first time and it won't be the last time ;) Did you even bother reading what I wrote? lol I reiterated that she said it (her words being taken out of context) had happened before, yes? I was simply pointing out that she never said every negative comment she ever made was taken out of context.

People are hellbent on "hating" her because she gives them reason to do so. It's that simple.

I don't care about how many times, but she still has done it. She dissed GaGa, then she realized that she shouldn't have said that, then she (and her people) did Damage Control. That's how it works and it's great publicity too.
