She is SUCH a beautiful woman, but she needs to soften her image desperately.

Yes, because cheesy/bad lyrics are an absolute no-no in a pop song.

I can't believe they would even consider Bionic as a single. That song is SO cheesy. The word, supersonic, should never be use in a song unless is for a cartoon or something. Bionic, take it supersonic, eh I'm bionic; hit you like a rocket, eh-ay-yeh Bionic, so damn bionic, eh Gonna get you with my electronic, supersonic rocket, eh BARF...Lord have mercy! Hahaha, i love this part !!!!!

I am back from seeing Christina this morning. Overall, she was very good. It was clear though from the performance that her Stripped material is still her strongest. She started with a great performance of Fighter that went over well with the crowd. Then after a short, boring interview, she went into a short piece of bionic (live) that was a bit messy and than into NMT, which was good but some people in the crowd looked bored. She finsihed with Beautiful. I liked the arrangement she used and the entire crowd was singing along.
The fact that she spent 2/3 of time singing songs from two albums ago and they went over a lot better is not good.

'Bionic' should have been the first single. It's different - and very catchy. I'm convinced that it would have done much, much better than 'NMT'. If they do release it second, they may be able to salvage this era yet. I agree 100%.

She is SUCH a beautiful woman, but she needs to soften her image desperately. Agreed. I was really hoping the Marie Claire pics from earlier this year were a taste of things to come. She looked amazing here: xtina-web.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2506&pos=0Alas, the clown hair and make-up made a comeback.

Yes, shw looks STUNNING there. You know, I think even her image plays in a negative way for her. She would be much more accessible with a look like that.
A part of me still loves her and after watching her Today Show performance nostalgia hit me. There's a reason why I loved her so much in her early days. There are moments when I don't want her to flop, but then I listen to songs like Vanity again and it's all I want.

Hi, I have a question about that, on the tv broadcast, the just showed the ending parts of You Lost Me and then said there would be more Christina later but then reshowed Fighter performance. Did something go wrong during the YLM performance? I thought she sounded good but at some parts she sounded sick. Any insight into that? also count me in for being slightly disappointed for no more new material, while I enjoy the Stripped album (and it's my ultimate favorite of hers), I was hoping for Elastic Love and I Am at least. Woohoo is my jam right now, I've had it on repeat for days. I saw tweets appearing from someone who was making corsets for chrissy and nikki so I assume WooHoo is getting a video. the single bionic seems to have great reception from the sales bars.

^ I think they just didn't show it on tv. There was nothing wrong. It was short.

This "blonde robot from Planet Bionic" schtick just isn't working for her. People clearly don't want another GaGa and that's exactly what she's trying to give us.

Aguilera has an identity crisis on new CD
On the opening track of Christina Aguilera's latest album, the singer belts: "I'll elevate you so high I'll give you a migraine." She's got that right.
"Bionic," the 29-year-old's fourth studio release, is a disappointing album that will have listeners asking: Will the real Christina Aguilera please stand up?
When Aguilera debuted in 1999, it was a time when manufactured, bubbly faced sweethearts dominated the music scene. But she stood out from competitors like Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore, and though she didn't sell as many records as Britney Spears, she earned more credibility -- especially with 2002's "Stripped," a defining album for Aguilera and the teen pop music era. So with "Bionic," the singer has misstepped -- and that's a shame.
The CD's lead single, the Polow da Don-produced "Not Myself Tonight," is mediocre at best, with its leather-and-chain styled music video that screams hot mess. When she sings "I'm not myself tonight," you wonder -- what day of the week is she the real Christina?
(I Kinda agree with this...)

Down to #4 and #30 on iTunes. Ouch! Maybe people are more interested in getting the physical copy. Or is that just the hardcore fans?

I really don't know how it would work for Tina. I know that happens with releases from Mimi. This is #7 on Amazon.

Why do I see two deluxe versions on iTunes? I can't see the details since I don't have iTunes on my office PC. Is one clean and one explicit or whah?

Down to #4 and #30 on iTunes. Ouch! I see this at #4, #5 and #30. There are three versions. Probably selling enough combined to be #1, I would think.

I checked the explicit/clean tags and they both have explicit tags, so basically, iTunes just has the same album twice. Does she have any songs in the Top 100 from her album? nope.

Just bought I Am, You Lost Me, Lift Me Up, and Birds of Prey. Considering Monday Morning after the iTunes preview, but will wait to hear the whole thing on YouTube.
