well at least she isn't talking about some sorry dude in this song Good point lol..The song isn't terrible but what the hell is she trying to do with her voice on the chorus? She really put the ow into that found. Edit: I had to add this. Someone gave Keysh a positive review on Amazon.com, and titled it "A girl with a voice that macthes her looks"

I don't know, I kinda like the "found" she's just putting some riffs on it. I mean in general belting excessively is bad for your voice, but it sells... she already has a raspy voice, she might as well. I personally LOVE this song

This is my second favorite song on the record. I mean her voice on this track is just pure soul. Yes the extra adlibs on the chorus could have been sung differently, but it still works. Its also the only song on the record where she produced her own vocals by herself. Also..she wrote the song after she saw her ex with some other chick, so she said she went into the studio and wrote the lyrics and recorded it all in one night---there you have it!

I don't know, I kinda like the "found" she's just putting some riffs on it. I'm a bigger fan of "riffs" than most people. I understand why people think Beyonce and Christina overdo it, but I do like it. These "riffs" here almost ruin the song though.

Bump this thread. The song went for adds this past tuesday and already has 11.5 million impressions! This is a good sign for Keyshia already. This was my fave song from the album from the beginning!

I just saw her on BET. (repeat)
They premiered the video.
I didn't know she sang "I Just Want It To Be Over!"

ok, it sounds yodellish, but for me it grew and actually enhances the song and this song has that "jam" feel, it jus the song you rock to, and this song is gonna be huge, its been a fan favourite and its gonna be a smash hit.

Love the song and the video is alos hot. It kinda reminds me of a Mary J Blige video crossed with Alicia's "If I Ain't Got You". But this song is definitely my favorite off her debut disc. And that is saying alot because I think the whole disc is almost a modern day classic

I just saw the video and it has alright, though the acting leaves much to be desired. LOL @ the police officer saying he loved her music.
The song isn't horrific or anything but her vocals certainly are during the "I fooooooound" part. Her voice is like bouncing up and down or something. I like "I Should've Cheated" much more.

And that is saying alot because I think the whole disc is almost a modern day classic i thought the exact same thing, the concept was similar to if i aint got you and then the beginning with the shot of the skyline of nyc reminded me of be without you.

If I wasn't such a huge fan of KC I would've thought she was FROM NYC! She does a lot of shows and video shoots there. If I was from the Bay area I would be like wussup with that Keysh?!?!? But its cool that NYC loves her to death.

Yes, this song does have the potential to be a hit, and I think it also has the potential to cross over into other formats than just Urban, which I Should've Cheated was not able to do. It's the kind of ballad that is not really big in today's music world.
