I loved Cali Girls from the first listen, but I loved this more immediately. Same here. Before I even hit the play button, I knew I loved it. |

I loved Cali Girls from the first listen, but I loved this more immediately. CG is like a shot of tequila and TD is more like a cosmopolitan. Both great to drink in the right amounts and the right environment. :) |

This is #11 and I haven't even heard it yet. It's hard for me to believe these meteoric rises aren't label support. I'm not sure it matters in Katy Perry's case because she clearly is very popular, but at the same time would these songs do well over the long haul if they had to rise slowly? I wonder. I guess I'll know more about this one when I actually hear it.

California Gurls was more instant, but this is the type of song that never gets old. I agree. Personally I like a mix of both types on an album, puff and depth. Too much depth and an album makes me fall asleep, too much puff and I don't bother buying what I hear on the radio all the time. |

Out of the songs that she's released off of Teenage Dream, my favorite is Circle The Drain. Shows a musical growth in her since her Christian Music days.

Def love this more than Cali Girls same way i preferred HotNCold to IKAG LOL, me too. I loved Hot N Cold and hated "I Kissed A Girl" and I loved Cali Gurls at first but got over it quickly while I love TD more everyday. |

E.T. is single-worthy. I love it more than 'NLTM' & 'CTD'. But 'TD' & 'CG' are still the better songs. I wonder if there are any more gems on the record that are on the same level as this song & 'CG'.

Honestly, Katy really decided the first two singles PERFECTLY.
Both the singles were released in Summer '10 and really basically sum up this summer to the tee. "California Gurls" everyone can listen to during the day while they are tanning at the beaches singing "sun kissed skin so hot we'll melt your popsicle!" Then at night they can jam to "Teenage Dream" in their sweatshirts outside on the trampoline watching the starry night with their baby <3

TD is way >>CG. I was just saying how it helps to be KP or Em cuz you don't have to do much to get airplay, lol. (ok so there have been exceptions) This is a great song though and deserves it.

Aww I loved the video. Not as much as "Hot N Cold" or "Waking Up In Vegas" but it definitely served it's purpose.
Also I never liked CG much so this >>>>>>>>>>> CG.
