THISand I have a feeling that it won't be that monstrous anyways, but we'll see once the HQ does come out, which should be soon since the adds date's almost here. Same here... I have a feeling this will be a Womanizer/Circus situation... Circus had a lot of hype while Womanizer smashed, but when released, it wasn't as big as Womanizer was... I don't think Teenage Dream will be as big as California Gurls, still, that doesn't mean it won't be a big hit... But yeah, based on that clip, I don't think I'll like it that much... It never clicked at first like ET, HHB, and Last Friday Night did, but it grew on me, and I love it! Hope its a big hit! So happy this smashed both charts! Katy is doing great! |

i think Firework will do pretty well. Not #1 or anything, but top 20 at least. If it gets to top 10 on both CHR and the hot 100, anything beyond that is gravy for me.

Yeah, her #1 streak will end with the release of "Firework". However, I still see it being a decent-sized hit. Top 10 on CHR and the Hot 100, perhaps?

I'm no Firework champion, but I think it may be more successful than people think. I find it very structurally similar to Only Girl (plus same producers, obv), and that's blowing up right now. Yes, there's the whole Third Vs. First single fact, but I think Only Girl's performance can only bode well for Firework's.

Firework will do fine. Might not be as big as Teenage Dream or Cali Gurls but I don't think it'll kill the era or anything.
If Thinking of You didn't deflate her first era (the great song that it was), Firework won't destroy this one.
