I agree with the YBWM: Wedding Edition. In all honesty, isn't this song a bit hypocritical on her part? It was so "awful" for Kanye West to 'speak now' when she was giving her VMA speech. Which, yes, it was rude of him. But in the song... she's standing up during a wedding (which she wasn't even invited to) and trying to publically stop two people from getting married. Like... really... very mature, Taylor. I literally CAN.NOT. at you comparing a song to that situation. You are way too easily offended if this song makes you that upset.

Please tell me you are joking? haha! It's a made up song, she didn't actually stop a marriage, relax now.

Listening to it a bunch more songs, her vocals' slight off-ness is really interesting, not the kind of thing you generally hear on a studio album, but in a good way. It's sorta acoustic-y rather than the usual crazy Auto-Tune on everything on the radio.

I change my mind, I think this is more country than Mine. It reminds me of the Island-y vibe, especially at the end of the chorus. I f**king love this. I f**king love this too lol, to be honest i didnt really used to like taylor that much because i didnt really think she could carry a tune, but this song is pitch perfect and the beat and melody is fantastic. This song is a more mature and better version of you belong with me, while tracing back to her signature fairytale songs, it adds some new maturity. This is now in my top 5 songs of the year, i listened to it over 20 times already, i think it's that good.

I only went back in the thread a few pages and I wasn't sure if it was just being overlooked. It truly is an interesting mix. Does it have an official impact date?

That performance was very difficult to listen to in my opinion (definitely not one of her best).
Meanwhile, absolutely obsessed (and imagining the most amazing video concepts) with "Speak Now".

This release doesn't even seem hyped. I also doubt it'll be as successful as her other 2 albums.

I also doubt it'll be as successful as her other 2 albums. ....that sold 6 million and nearly 5 million copies respectively. Yeah, I doubt she'll match their success either. Regardless, she doesn't have to put out another massive album to be successful. If iTunes interest is any indication the album's looking to sell more than "well enough".

Most Italians don't even know who she is and we don't care about Country music, anyway.

From Taylor's Facebook: “Speak Now,” the title track from Taylor Swift’s upcoming Big Machine Records album, was released on iTunes on Tuesday and ascended to the #1 spots atop both the iTunes All-genre Singles Chart and the iTunes Country Singles Chart within hours of its release. The song remains at #1 on both charts, with first day sales in excess of 85,600 downloads. “Speak Now” is a hit with both fans and critics, with Entertainment Weekly (who this week ranks Taylor at #24 on their annual list of the Most Powerful Entertainers) lauding the song as “expertly catchy” and “one of her best tunes yet.” Speak Now will be released on October 25th, and Taylor talks about the album in her cover feature of the November issue of Glamour magazine, available on newsstands on October 12th. A preview of the article and photo spread is available now at www.Glamour.com. Speak Now is available for special pre-sale on the site www.SpeakNow13.com.

"Speak Now" as the next single, please. I love it. Maybe it's because it sounds slightly like "Untouchable" which is my favorite Taylor track of all time (and my fourth favorite song ever), but this is tied with it now. : love :

Speak Now sounds good, I like it. It has a cool vibe to it. The bridge is the best part.
Not sure it's a single though.

I wouldn't mind Speak Now as a single, if only for the surely great video to come with it.
I think that this only sounds like Untouchable in the intro.

Love "Speak Now". Sounds sort of like a hybrid between Untouchable and Hey Stephen, which I have no problem with. I think my favorite part is "Horrified looks from...I'm only looking at you". She sounds so...cute?

I really hope this whole CD isn't fully of sappy love songs and boy drama. There better be something like Change and The Best Day.
