EVE TALKS LOVE, ‘LIP LOCK,’ AND BABIES ON ‘CHELSEA LATELY’



Eve dished on her love life, new album, and starting a family during her appearance on “Chelsea Lately.”

The blonde rapper revealed why it took 11 years to release Lip Lock, launching her own label, and dating her boyfriend of three years, Maximillion Cooper.

“I never thought I would be with a white guy, ever,” said Eve, who lives with Cooper in London. “But he’s amazing and I’m the first black girl he’s ever been with. It’s been interesting.”

Eve is ready to start a family. “It’s baby popping out time,” she said.

She also shared her love for cars and her recent experience racing in the 15th anniversary of the Gumball 3000 rally.

Chelsea tried to get her to reveal the famous rapper who told her that her debut wasn’t going to sell, but Eve decided not to expose him. The album went on to sell 2 million copies.

'Animal': Eve is a scream in Drew Barrymore's upcoming horror flick -- FIRST LOOK

Eve didn’t need to be asked twice when Drew Barrymore’s company, Flower Films, offered her a role in the horror flick Animal. “Horror movies are my favorite genre,” says the rapper-actress, who also appeared in the Barrymore-directed Whip It in 2009.

Animal follows a group of folks who are pursued by a bloodthirsty predator. The results, boasts Eve, are eardrum-battering: “I’m a real good screamer.”

Eve Is Engaged to British Designer Maximillion Cooper!

Eve's love is going the distance.

The singer-actress is engaged to British designer and Gumball 3000 founder Maximillion Cooper, E! News exclusively confirms.

Eve's rep tells us that Cooper popped the question on Christmas Day, the sparkly evidence of which was first spied on Instagram in a photo in which she's surrounded by family—and flashing a diamond ring!



The pic prompted an immediate flood of speculative congratulations from fans, none of which the entertainer denied. In fact, she responded with heart emojis!

"#familytime!!!! Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side," wrote the artist born Eve Jeffers, what turned out to be a very revealing caption.

"Feel so#blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy."

Cooper was born in Staffordshire, England. He and Eve have been splitting their time between the U.S. and London.

This will be the first trip down the aisle for Eve. Cooper, who has been dating the former Ruff Ryders rapper since at least 2011, has four children from his previous marriage.

Cooper is also the founder of the international motor rally known as Gumball 3000, in which more than 100 exotic cars are driven around the world, via a different route each year, by way of public streets. This year's 15th-anniversary rally went from Copenhagen to Monaco.

Eve, who in addition to sharing a Grammy with Gwen Stefani for the hit tune "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," is best known for her work on the big screen in Barbershop and xXx and on TV in her own sitcom Eve.

Cooper posted pics from their very festive-looking Christmas in Edinburgh together.

Eve To Topline Interracial Romantic Comedy For ABC Produced By Aaron Kaplan

ABC has closed a deal for a multi-camera comedy project to star actress-rapper Eve, from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment and ABC Studios. The project, which is eyed for the 2014-15 development season, is looking for a writer. I hear Kaplan approached Eve (full name Eve Jeffers) with the idea for a multi-camera interracial romantic comedy. The two pitched it to ABC, which bought the project with penalty. Eve and Kaplan (ABC’s The Neighbors) executive kapitalproduce. ICM Partners-repped Eve previously toplined her eponymous sitcom on UPN and starred in the Barbershop movie franchise.

This is the second high-profile talent-driven comedy project that Kaplan has set up at ABC for next development season, along with a single-camera comedy starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as a couple forced to raise their grandchildren. Kaplan also has ABC drama Secrets & Lies, which has a 10-episode commitment and is casting. He just received a pilot order from NBC for drama Mysteries Of Laura. At ABC, the Eve project joins an interracial comedy the network has in development this season with Whoopi Goldberg and Ben Silverman producing.

Eve Reveals Wedding Details, Set to Marry British Designer Maximillion Cooper Any Day Now

Eve's wedding bells are getting really loud.

The Grammy winner and her fiance, British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper, are set to marry by the end of this month after getting engaged at Christmas.

"I feel like it's right now," Eve told me this morning while promoting her upcoming Drew Barrymore-produced horror movie, Animal (out in theaters and available on VOD on June 17). "I feel like I'm walking down the aisle right now."

Eve previously revealed that they would get hitched after this year's Gumball 3000, the international motor rally founded by Cooper.

It just so happens the festivities conclude with an awards ceremony tomorrow night in Ibiza.

Eve will wear a custom wedding dress by Alice Temperly. "I did the final fitting already," she said, adding with a laugh, "I was scared. But it's so beautiful. It's so different than anything I thought I would have ever wanted, but it's perfect."

The ceremony and reception won't be small, "but it's not huge," she said. Her grandmother, who has never flown before, will take her first flight to be there!

And then there's motherhood. Eve will become stepmom to Cooper's four children from a previous relationship. "I have four kids now—that's nuts!" Eve said. "But I have to say they are the coolest, sweetest kids. I got really lucky. They're really independent and just very cool. It's really fun hanging with them."

She'd like to have two more kids with Cooper. "It's whatever God wants to give me, but I think with the four, two more is just enough," Eve said.

Eve and Cooper have narrowed their honeymoon options to two places, but she admits they probably won't take one until August or September.

An impromptu pre-wedding celebration took place earlier this week when Cooper presented macaroons he created with Miller Fortune beer to his wife-to-be because the French confection is her favorite dessert.

“For me it is a classic horror film in the sense that there is screaming, and it’s gory, and the killings are so amazing,” says rapper and actress Eve about her new film, Animal. Well, that does tick many of the crucial horror film boxes.

In addition to Eve, Animal stars Keke Palmer, Amaury Nolasco, Parker Young, Joey Lauren Adams, Elizabeth Gillies, Paul Iacono, Thorsten Kaye, and Jeremy Sumpter, and concerns a group of friends being pursued by a blood-thirsty predator. The film is directed by Brett Simmons (The Monkey’s Paw) and written by Thommy Hutson (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) and Catherine Trillo. Animal is produced by Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films, which also oversaw the recently-released-to-VOD horror movie Happy Camp.

Animal itself is hitting theaters and VOD on June 17 and will then premiere on Chiller. But you can exclusively check out the film’s new poster above and trailer below.

Wearing a gorgeous wedding gown by British designer Alice Temperley and a cathedral-length veil, the 35-year-old hip-hop star and xXx actress wed the British Gumball 3000 motor rally CEO and co-founder and fellow fashion designer on Saturday, June 13 in Ibiza, Spain.

"I'm so happy to make Eve my wife," Cooper told E! News exclusively. "The whole experience has been amazing and we are both so happy to have tied the knot."

"We met on the 2010 Gumball 3000 rally so it only seemed right to have the wedding at the finish of this years rally in Ibiza, which was the final stop on this years event," he said. "We couldn't be happier to celebrate such a special day with all our family and friends."



This marks the first marriage for Eve, who was born Eve Jeffers in Philadelphia. The two have been together for about four three years and got engaged on Christmas Day last year. He shares four children with an ex-wife.

Eve told E! News on Wednesday that they are "the coolest, sweetest kids" and that she would like to have two of her own with Cooper.

The two spent the past week ''racing'' towards the aisle! Eve and Cooper took part in his annual Gumball 3000 rally. The rapper had said they planned to wed after the international event, which ended on Saturday.

The two told the British fashion website iD-VICE that they had first met at the 2010 event. Cooper said the two have "been together every day since." The Gumball 3000 website dubs Eve the "First Lady of Gumball."

The 3,000-mile rally takes place on public roads and spans across 13 countries. This year's event began in Miami and went through Daytona, Atlanta, Charlotte and New York, where the drivers' vehicles were flown to Scotland. Participants traveled there separately and picked them up to drive through England, including London's Regent Street, a busy shopping destination, and board ferries that would take them to Paris and beautiful, sunny Ibiza, a popular party spot in Europe.
