Kristine confirmed this as the next single. She said it will have mixes by an Australian, American and Latin remixer. I'm guessing Wayne g is the Australian. Hoping Tony or ralphi is the American. No clue on the Latin

Unlikely. The song's not even on her new album which is supposed to be out next week. It'd be great if a remix package for "Fade" would be featured as a B-side to one of the jazz singles though...maybe that's what she meant?

Here's what she posted on her facebook page: "Hi gang, we are happy to announce the next dance single from Kristine W. We received your emails, comments and posts (thank you), the single is being remixed by three amazing DJ Producers, one American, an Australian and a Latin American remixer. The next single from " The Power of Music" album will be "Fade." The single will be released in the fall. Thank you again for all of your great comments and emails"

Yeah it's not on her jazz album because it's on the power of music album

I just checked her Facebook page and don't see the song "Fade" mentioned anywhere....what's the URL you guys are getting this from? It would make absolutely no sense for her to promote the OLD album "Power Of Music" when she's got a brand NEW album out next week! Ergo, her new single isn't "Fade" it's this:

A simultaneous single release with one from The Power Of Music and the other from the jazz one makes sense. As much as I love "Feel What You Want", I don't think there's much that can be done to add something new to it. The new version is okay for what it is. It has just been done to death. There are so many of her past singles and even album tracks which would be nice to revisit with new dance mixes and/or a proper release of some of the unreleased mixes from the initial releases. Only a handful have been revisited for the jazz album. I recently heard the NY X-tended Vocal for "Feel What You Want" a few months back after somehow totally glossing over that one the first few times around. I love the euro style of that plus the 'spooky' organ hook. I enjoyed a number of the other mixes from the earlier releases. | It's on the Wall. It's the entry dated July 31.

Just got an email from the diva herself yesterday, thought I'd share with the group (see below) Dunno when these mixes will see the light of day, and I'm still puzzled by the timing of this remix project (considering she has a whole seperate new album to promote) but I'm still very VERY excited to hear what these remixers did with Fade!
Hi babe: loved your email!!! Yes fade is coming out remixes are from alex acosta, johnny vicious, dj royaal, and waiting for the final mix from the buss junkies. You will love this one.

none of these sound like anything i want to dance to. I wasn't expecting anything though when the remixers were announced. i really can't say that i've liked anything johnny vicious has done other than "someone to hold"(which i think is an amazing mix but he's basically a one hit wonder in my mind)

The occasional rave-ish sounding ones like his Nikki & Rich, Shakira, etc. were fine. I have liked a number of his mixes throughout the years, especially his Gigi D'Agostino "I'll Fly With You", Hedwig And The Angry Inch "Angry Inch", React "Let's Go All The Way", Duncan Sheik "Reasons For Living", No Mercy "Kiss You All Over", and of course the Veronica one. PS. After listening to some of the clips, the only one that I am remotely drawn to is the Buzz Junkies one.

I'm really wanting to buy this on CD single but can't find any place that has it available for sale! Not PerfectBeat, not Amazon, and KW's own website is still down (hacked?) so I may just cave in and get buy the 13 mixes as a digital-download puchase for $8 (at least the price is super-cheap...)

update: http://www.kristinew.biz./ is either her new website or a temporary store-front where fans can order the "Fade" remix package on 2 CD singles, and other items from her back catalog - the prices are a bit high but I just placed my order, so we'll see when they show up (hopefully very soon!)

Man, I love, LOVE me some Kristine W, but I cannot, for the life of me, get into this song. It's just SO bland and out of my head the second it's over. If she does get another #1 out of this, it's not because of the song. I can't fault the remixers, because there's not much they could do with it.
When I think back on all of the wonderful tracks she's given us, I realize what a gift they've been. She's allowed a pass every so often, but I can't pretend I didn't expect better from her.

Very lackluster track, although I love Kristine. I have listened to all the remixes and just can't get into any of them. I do hope she gets a #1 out of it, simply because it is Kristine, but the song itself is just...well...boring...just sayin'

I've heard them, and the song still FADE's from memory as I'm listening to it (although, Gustavo's dub makes a valiant effort). There are no mixes that can save this track. Even if this song hits #1 next week, (and it looks like come hell or high water, Fetch Will Happen) this song will be the most forgettable from her otherwise illustrious catalog.
