Glad Em is dominating radio, albums, and digital sales :) Hope Taylor has a strong top 3 debut and sticks around :) It will suck if she doesn't get a #1 again this era on the Hot100!

It looks like Taylor Swift is gonna get a top 3 debut with "Mine". I think this will outpeak TWAF on all counts. Great for Taylor ! :)

Four others that I can think of: "Fearless," (#9) "Change," (#10) "TWAFT" (#2), "Jump then Fall" (#10)
Also had top ten peaks for her two biggest hits: "Love Story" (#4), "YBWM" (#2).

For those who care, in the way they're constructed, "Not Afraid" and "Love the Way You Lie" are basically the same song. They follow the same chord progression throughout the entire song in both cases. (i, VI, III, VII). It's the same progression that "Poker Face," "Behind These Hazel Eyes," and "Kids" by MGMT use. i dont really mind as long as the songs are good i dont care if they rip each off or anything. if its good music i ll buy it. PS my favoirte music artisit/group is CASCADA so that clearly says i have no problem with songs sounding the same |

^^ yeah if you wanna get that nit-picky about it, most songs are pretty darn similar anyway. Would I have ever thought Poker Face and Behind these Hazel Eyes sounded the same without cking33 having posted that? Probably not. Is this new knowledge going to negatively affect my opinion of the song or the songwriters involved? Absolutely not.

Aren't most POP songs similar in contruction for the most part? Same with R&B, punk rock, metal, etc; That's why there are genres of music lol.
