Meh, LTWYL is still a pop song True it's not a hard core rap song.,but I mean you don't have to listen to the whole song to understand it just listen how Em starts the rap. Sure it's a popular song but not Pop Genre song. It doesn't make it a pop song just because it's collaborated by a popular pop star. If anyone thinks this is a pop song then there's no different between pop and rap from today onwards!

Do any of the more experienced members here know where I could find a link to the top 200 selling albums of 2007? Did soundscan leak the top 200 like they did for 2008 and 2009?

Interestingly enough, songs like "Fergalicious," "Boom Boom Pow," and "Tik Tok" are almost entirely rapped, and yet they're all about as pop as you can get. Which is why a song being in one genre doesn't exclude it from being in another. this post got ignored..yet they made an amazing point..this coudnt be more true

In a very vague and general sense, everything that is being played on radio is pop, yes.
BUT it is generally accepted of what is a "pop song" as opposed to other genres like hip hop, R&B, country, rock, reggae etc etc
