Giving this one to Taylor. I get why Teddy's here (the whole Billboard year vs. Calendar year thing) but for me it feels wrong to categorize him here because the song is top 10 on pop radio as of today.

^ If others have any opinions on this, I'd love to hear them. I was trying to follow what the OG games (the Billboard decade ones) did, and include the song's final position for both years that it charted. If others feel I should only include a song if it actually peaked in that year, I'm open to changing it if I end up doing this poll series for other years! :)

I was only speaking for myself haha, I totally follow the logic of 'peaked at W in X Billboard year' and then re-appearing as 'peaked at Y in Z Billboard year'. The problem, in part, is because songs that debuted on the chart in 2023 are still charting in 2024 so their ultimate peaks aren't final. It would be a lot easier if the chart runs of everything were all completed, so it would be easier to categorize songs by which year they peaked in, which obviously you can't do for 2023 yet.

Lose Control. I feel like we should keep it the same in terms of wherever a song peaks that year regardless of if it has a higher peak the next year or not. I definitely lets there be more deserving winners rather than these random songs that get a small amount of viral attention.

i am going with Taylor here . Slut was originally going to be the single for the album re release and was my favorite of the new songs . i did not really like any of the other new songs . for #2 i am going with the Teddy Swims song . i like the retro arrangement to it but something about his voice i don't like.
1 Slut! 2 Lose Control 3 Mi Amore

"Slut!" remains my fave Vault track from Taylor so far, it's such a vibe.
