Already on the 2nd single for $10 Cowboy (LOL). Impacting AAA on April 29th, per JBE.

Was kinda surprised at how badly "10 Dollar Cowboy" did, but it lacked some of the big adds "I'm Just a Clown" had (No WXRT, Spectrum, etc.), and it also didn't really have a chorus as well so that didn't help its case. I liked that song more than "Trinity River", not as much as "I'm Just a Clown".

If I had to guess why Thirty Tigers sent this and not...say, "Hard Luck & Circumstances" (which I went for and skipped the lead), it's to not send a third single in a row focusing on the miserable, weathered cowboy that Charley largely is as a character. Perhaps try to lean into something more useful and productive, and not so much on an idea that screams blues music thematically (either that or his outlaw country album from 2020 that introduced me to him).
Also, I would point more to maybe the spoken outro turning some off.

The outlaw style guitar reminds me of some Cody Jinks songs (specifically, Like a Hurricane) except better, so this probably will do better for him.
Lead the Way needs to be a single at some point. It's a massive bop.
