Always in support of Female sung metal on Active. Like the five we get every year.

Always in support of Female sung metal on Active. Like the five we get every year. This year has felt ESPECIALLY bad in this aspect. Besides S!CK, V.A.N, & Victorious (which was a carry over from 2023), nothing female led has even cracked the top 30. 9/109 songs on the rock charts in 2024 have been female led, about 8%. Even with collaborations not being taken into account, the numbers are shocking. As for the song, I definitely like it more than other Plush songs I’ve listened to. I hope this at least gets some traction on Active.

Yeah, strange. I would have expect Plush to be one of the new breakthrough bands, but they have rather stalled on the radio.

For example, WZBH, which plays a lot of currents, hasn't added S!CK yet and they didn't add Royale Lynn. They do play the big names such as Halestorm, Dorothy, TPR, etc., but excluding featured artists, I don't think they're playing any current with a female lead. (they haven't added this yet)

I won’t crucify them for not adding Royale Lynn (even if they should’ve) because it’s a new artist, and the song just PLUMMETED as soon as it gained traction (that’s another point in itself, tHaNkS Epitaph for that one!). Its S!CK that really gets me. New artist? Not really, they’ve charted before. Odd sound? Pretty typical (but good) sound. Not a big chart presence? Top 15. Even my local active rock station (which is hesitant to add songs unless they’re from a bigger name) is playing S!CK (albeit pretty much only overnight, at least it’s in there) And it’s a shame because S!CK (and Six Feet Deep to a lesser extent) is better than a lot of the songs that are on radio now.
