Sad song but I like it. I think it missed #1 on the R&R chart.

The song was okay. But the video is so wrong and disturbing.

I don't care much for it. I've never been a big fan of solo Lionel. The only solo singles I listen to by him are "Endless Love," "All Night Long," "Running With The Night," "Do It To Me," and "I Call It Love" which isn't a lot considering his level of output.

One of my favourites from him! This song gives me chills sometimes, moreso than any other song he did.

This has to be one of the creepiest videos ever. It's hilarious looking at it now.

This is not a bad song, as a matter of fact it is one of his best. Now why in the tarnation did it have to settle for #2 for three weeks on the R&R charts. It should have been that idiotic record "Dancing On The Ceiling" to have missed the top instead.

I actually like many of Lionel Richie's songs. It's just that he's 1 of those singers that sounds better with up-beat music, rather than slow, sleepy ballads. The only exceptions are "Stuck on You" and "Say You Say Me". Those actually had some unique flavor to them - "Stuck" was country-tinged, and "Say" was a power-ballad. But "Hello" just lays there and takes a snooze.

Lionel's signature song. A global smash, it reached #1 everywhere.
The video was odd:
Adele's new single prompted me to listen to this one again. Cheesy, but I'd forgotten how much I like it.

While it is a classic, he's had much better, both solo and with The Commodores.

It's a classic, but I tend to favor his other ballads more.

I hear this song recently used as an internet meme. It's okay but I'm more familiar with some of his other solo hits.
