Yay!!! To Excited about this!
A May-June schedule is kinda bad for me personally but I'll try my best to make it work... I've been a fan since Sound of the Underground when I was kid. I need to see then live!

Fingers crossed there's a new album involved. A reunion tour is nice and all, but I barely like driving more than an hour to a concert, lol. I'm definitely not crossing an ocean for one.

They were interviewed by Vogue UK. You could read the article here. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cz9gpZ2IYlM
Fingers crossed there's a new album involved. Sadly, it's not going to happen. The group will not be recording any new music. "We couldn't," Cheryl says, "because Sarah wouldn't be included in that newness. This is about celebrating the 20 years we've all had. So the tour has got to be inclusive of Sarah because she's such a massive part of our make-up. It will never feel like the old Girls Aloud again but we've reached a point where we feel ready to celebrate all of it. Sarah included."

Ugh. Gutted about no new music. Can we at least get unreleased stuff from the vault?

So great they’re gonna tour.
I know many won’t be surprised at no new music, but I am. I thought they would at least do one song to celebrate the tour. I really hope it’s filmed and put up at some point. It would be nice if they did SOMETHING for their international fans since we never got a chance before.

Why don’t artists film and release their tours on blu-ray anymore 😭.

My favorite of the new unreleased tracks. It is so epic of them to have song called 'Disco Bunny'

I love that! I wish they would just give us a compilation album of all unreleased tracks. I know they're sitting on gems.

I know alot of fans would prefer it didn't exist, but I am shocked and delighted that 'Walk This Way' with the Sugababes has finally been made available for streaming and purchase in the US

Ugh I NEED to know why the hell the music video for Sexy No No No is blocked in the US. Dying to see the new 4k. That is a career defining video.

Cheryl's intro on that song with the distorted vocals is one of the greatest moment's in Pop music history. Boy did you ever think that lovin' would be nothing more than walkin' me home?*chef's kiss*

They found a version of Sarah singing 'I'll Stand By You' solo and played it at the tour. It's a good thing they don't do shows in the US because I would be on that arena floor ugly crying my guts out.

As if the whole megamix wasn't great enough, now it's got a music video. No flaws detected. 'Untouchable', 'Call the Shots' and 'Sexy' look so good remastered/upscaled.

It is one of Pop Music's biggest injustices that only a small portion of the world know of Girls Aloud. They have the greatest girl group discography.

I know many people say the US wouldn't "get" their music, deserve it, etc etc, but I feel at the least, as big as they were they would have been able to at least make their music available to the US and other countries. Other foreign-to-the-US artists have, with much less than they had at their disposal. Even if they chose not to spend extra money promoting it. I know they have stated before the US was never a priority, but I really think they had and may still have a cult following here that really got left out. I remember the Greatest Hits was like $60 plus shipping on Amazon (or more) if you wanted to buy the album legally.
And I definitely get that their music circa 2002-2004 would not have jived here. The US was looking for harder hitting rock and urban productions during that time and the metaphorical style in which they write wouldn't have gone over well. But, starting with Tangled Up, I feel like they could have had something going there. 'Call the Shots' and the single mix of 'Can't Speak French' were very radio friendly and accessible, to a point that I even had friends claim that they had heard the songs on the radio because they seemed familiar. 'Girl Overboard' had that trendy circa 2007-08 production. 'Sexy' could have been a huge club hit. Then maybe do an Idol performance and maybe introduce their previous Greatest Hits. I feel like that could have set the stage for Out of Control do at least make a minor splash as well.

That was the plan with the American X-Factor launch but after the whole firing debacle, Cheryl no longer had any interest. I blame Simon for what could've been tbh. "Call My Name" even started to get some spins on US radio. I wish Cheryl believed in herself more and didn't let X-Factor/Simon spoil her plans for launching in the States.

^ Yeah CMN was a #1 waiting to happen here. I have always suspected there was more to that story than what we think. I just can't believe that something so trivial as contestants potentially finding it difficult to understand her would get her kicked off the show, when it was very clear they were about set her up for something big. I think something else bigger went down behind the scenes.

I think something else bigger went down behind the scenes. Wasn't it that the shows producers were worried that American audiences wouldn't be able to understand her? Which was ludicrous. I also remember there even being reports that she actually tested positive with audiences in the early audition rounds.
