With Shakira, should be separate English and Spanish singles into two separate rankdowns?

Rankdown idea. I'm claiming it now and may even do it next (though I have two others in mind I want to do)
Lady Gaga outfits. Would people care enough to do this one??

That was the pinnacle of WTF celebrity fashion matched only by the time Kesha came to a show in a fucking trash bag.

Is anyone still doing a rankdown of songs that got caught between years?

Is anyone still doing a rankdown of songs that got caught between years? That could be a good idea. But chart watchers will have to do lots of research on every song caught in between each year to know what songs they were or not.

Is anyone still doing a rankdown of songs that got caught between years? Someone tried to do a DZ with that but it failed. Only problem is Juju On That Beat (which I'd have really high) wouldn't do well.

fearlessarrow I was just wondering, are you planning on doing the 2016 Non-US hits rank down?

fearlessarrow I was just wondering, are you planning on doing the 2016 Non-US hits rank down? So right now, I have Miley (which I currently have open for submissions, it'll probably finish by mid-October) and then the Taylor Swift albums rankdown series (which will happen around the release of reputation and then I might have a reputation rankdown further down the line sometime next year) before getting to the 2016 one if I wanted to host it. You can do the 2016 one if you'd like if you want to do it before I get to it! I might maybe do 2017 non-US hits at the end of the year (probably after the 2017 Hot 100 rankdown which is destined to happen), but I don't know if that's happening depending on if people want the non-US rankdown to be retroactive (I know aerodynamite wanted it to be) or not, in which case I'll probably do 2014 or do the Brad Paisley rankdown I have on the queue over in the country rankdown world.

I'd love the idea....if I were a country heavy person Country always walks a fine line between good and bad for me, probably cause a lot of the country songs you see on the Hot 100 nowadays are so....boring, redundant, and takes up space for better songs I don't think i ever really ever heard a christmas country track tbh, which reminds me I never checked out my girl Kacey Musgrave's Christmas album I'd rather believe we should just combine the country one with the norm one, since it'd make for a fuller more proper list I suppose?

I definitely think the Country genre has a diverse enough group of popular Christmas songs and a specific enough participant group to warrant having their own separate rankdown. Combining it wouldn't quite do it justice, imo. That being said, I love the idea of an all-genre one too! I would probably participate in both, because when it is well-done Christmas music tends to transcend genres, in my opinion. I can get into Christmas music from just about anybody Some of the more popular Country Christmas songs would definitely belong in an all-genre list. Stuff like Faith Hill's "Where Are You, Christmas", or even "Feliz Navidad" is primarily a country song! Also, Martina McBride is one of the most popular Christmas artists in any genre; I hear her literally EVERYWHERE throughout the Christmas season. Her version of "O Holy Night" is one of the most popular, pretty close to or maybe even moreso than Celine's. So you've probably heard her without even realizing it! But there are a LOT of country Christmas songs that would not make an all-genre Christmas list, so that's why I think there should be both

TBH I'd rather do another Christmas Madness tournament (we did that once in the Popstop era), that way everyone gets a say in the track selection.

not if I have any say in it lol. I hate that song with a passion and would easily be dead last, most overhyped Christmas song ever! TBH I'd rather do another Christmas Madness tournament (we did that once in the Popstop era), that way everyone gets a say in the track selection. I actually have an idea that would allow people to nominate songs to be included which I will post more about when I open up the thread for it, which I may actually do some point in Oct

My thing with allowing people to submit their own songs into like a communal rankdown, is that everyone would put their own songs at the top of their lists, which could make things messy.

I'll explain more when I open the thread in Oct.

Too many Christmas songs I feel need to be included that wouldn't really work with an all-genre one. If someone else wants to do that go ahead but I'm doing strictly Country Christmas

I just realized the original idea for my shuffle rankdowns would take years to complete. I originally wanted to do my entire playlist in individual 100 songs rankdowns and then one final rankdown for all the winners. But then I realized that would be 55 rankdowns.

I'd be all about a Christmas countdown but I'd only really be interested if it had the classics on there, rather than random covers of old songs by random no-name Pulse favs.

Since Taylor Swift Rankdown was a while back and only had 15 participants, half of which are hardly on Pulse now and some like me whos list could change, anyone feel like Re doing a Taylor Swift Rankdown? it could get many more people this time around.
