Listened to this over the weekend. Very, VERY good album. Excellent mix of music.

I've given this a few spins now and can confidently say this is a damn strong album. She really has a great ear for melody because this album is just busting at the seams with hooky radio-ready jams. Reminds me of Kelsea Ballerini a lot between her vocal delivery and all the bubbly effervescent melodies. Glad she's been doing well in Canada with consistent hits, but I'd love for her to have a solo hit down here at some point. They're truly spoiled for choice, too, because at least half this album, if not more, sounds like it has major radio potential imo.

I'm going to have to check out the album. I'm a big fan of her brother Kalan. He's not active in music anymore but had several years of hits in Canada when he won their version of Idol 20ish years ago. I'd love for them to do a duet. The whole Porter family is musical.

I have followed her for a long time now and she has just blossomed and grown into such a confident artist and really found her groove. It’s very much like Kelsea who I thought was fine overall to start (with Peter Pan being elite) but now I absolutely adore and can’t wait for new music and content from. I hope MacKenzie can find her footing in the US because we can use her on the airwaves!

I bet most people knowing kelsea from LMLYMI would never thought this bubblegum country pop girl actually has a brain and a lot to say. As for me Peter Pan gained my respect and Unapologetically made me a stan, then the well-written songs after songs are just one wow after wow.

I am pretty certain this is my favorite country record released so far this year. Each listen I’m finding something I like even more than the previous one.
My current favorites are: “Strong Things” (omg a masterpiece) “Have Your Beer” (I wish they’d try this at radio) “Sucker Punch” (and sucker punch me it did! Wow) “Along Those Lines” (another I wish they’d try at radio) “Rough Ride for a Cowboy” (love how this takes the Cowboy Casanova angle but then goes a step further. Epic!) “Wrong One Yet” (reminds me so much of what Maddie & Tae do so excellent)
There isn’t anything I really don’t like on here - maybe “Walk Away” - but what a great effort from her. I hope she becomes a big star.
