Jay Michaels is leaving Austin, Texas for Jackson, Mississippi, and--on May 17th--will become WJKK (Mix 98-7) and WYOY (Y101)'s brand manager.
Jay Michaels succeeds both Chris Bender and Matt Mony, who (until March) oversaw WJKK and WYOY, respectively.
Jay Michaels will also join his long-lost sister, Jan, at Digio Strategies-Jackson.
In 2021, Jan Michaels left iHeartMedia-Jackson, after working there in various roles for 27 years (including 105.1 The River's afternoon host). She defected to Digio Strategies-Jackson--and became a promotions director there--in 2022.
