Sometimes I wonder what record label's thinking behind these long waits between singles for some newer acts are. This dude had "While You're Gone" come close to scraping the top 40 about three years ago and then nothing since has gone to radio, and then now randomly outta nowhere this is going to be the follow-up, lol.
All that aside, this is a decent song but his voice just doesn't pack the punch that it needs to. He's just a rather mediocre vocalist. I can't imagine how much of a home run this would be if someone with a voice like Randall King or Jake Worthington got ahold of it instead, i.e. The production work here also feels a bit underbaked and more like something suited for the secondary radio circuit at best. Would be surprised if this went anywhere.

Agree that he is not the distinct vocalist, but I still really enjoy the chorus melody of this song. While You're Gone was also pretty good, so although I cannot see this song doing much, I still hope that he can chart again.
