By Wednesday, SFTTR could have as many as 100m impressions, which would be at the most (even if GF gains massively this week) 30-35m impressions behind. Given its lead on Itunes at the moment, it's very possible, just depends on how sales go for the rest of the week. WFL does have a good shot as well, but its sales are falling (as all massive songs inevitably do) and even an airplay difference of 50m might not be enough. It's very hard to call at this point. |

^ I think that SFTTR has a pretty definite shot at the top spot for the first chart week of February (the one after this one), but this week is harder to call.

Good Feeling has the airplay advantage over Adele, and the sales over Rihanna. Whether it sales enough to make up for the airplay difference remains to be seen.
But yeah, this week its Rihanna v. FloRida, then next week I expect Adele to take it hands down.

This is going to be close. Assuming SFTTR sells 200k that would put Flo on approx 164k and Rihanna on 124k. SFTTR will probably be on 100m AI by then with Rihanna on maybe 148m and Flo on 130m? Of course if Adele's sales were over 200k it would be even better news for her. It could be Adele's week....would be awesome given that she's a shoe in for #1 on the BB200 also. History making/equalling?

Selena Gomez and the Scene appear poised to collect their first Top Twenty composite airplay hit.
Impressive, especially considering their appeal is almost exclusively limited to a solitary radio format (they're getting a little bit of Adult Top 40 support, I suppose, but even there it has yet to reach the four-digit weekly spin threshold).
